After 32 years of glaucoma and treatments for it I despise hearing doctors say what I know is not true. Marijuana works for me. I would be blind by now if it did not.
Advocates have promoted the use of marijuana to treat medical conditions such as glaucoma. However, this is a good example of more effective medicines already available. According to the Institute of Medicine, there are six classes of drugs and multiple surgical techniques that are available to treat glaucoma that effectively slow the progression of this disease by reducing high intraocular pressure.
@jenn1ifer i was given the most "beneficial prescription available" (quote from my eye doctor) and it helped very slowly.. but it was uncomfortable and hurt when inserting the drop.
i moved to california right when i hit the legal age to get medical marijuana, got the prescription to buy medical, and it was so much better.
it's something you don't understand unless you've been through it.
The U.S. Supreme Court has ruled that when u puff on your pipe or rip a bong hit, it doesnt matter if your inhaling pot or tobacco or some other blend of smoke, your guilty! Its a matter of intent. If the smoke ware was designed for pot its illegal.
