You don't have a clue about this. Do you count yourself an authority on them alone or anyone who believes something different than you? What were the foolish speeches? Were you there? Maybe you are easily manipulated but why cast that stone at people you don't know at all. Maybe your jealous? I can't imagine that you can't see how much we are ALL manipulated in many ways, even to thinking we can judge others beliefs when we don't have the foggiest idea about how much we really don't know.

Perhaps you have nothing you've ever felt so strongly about that you'd be willing to "give your life" for, but for those that do, are they all manipulated into it by talk and idea's alone. For instance a fire fighter runs into a burning building - perhaps to save someone, perhaps not, but very often at rist to his life and what of their family should he die doing that service. A policeman can be in that position. A military person, an organ donar. Most think these honorable for their service.

And what about activists like Ghandi, King & many more who apply faith to justice issues taking a stand to where their life & their families lives are in danger. Are these manipulated. Jesus whom you may not believe existed layed down his life in faith that it was his "father's will". He said, "no man takes it from me", but how many people think he was a fool to set a trap and walk into it knowing the ramifications for no apparant profitable reason. you got it and they made this video. remember the way illusions work is to convince of what is not reality. The real deal comes and tells it like it is and then waits for most to think "it's" the illusion because they are so entrenched in their own world. There was nothing religious about Heaven's Gate except for the way the terms have been distorted into illusion. Heaven really meant outer space and/or the abodes in outer space of biological more evolved than human beings, thus supreme.

I say perhaps as there is no "one pill" a signature of a religion. Look at even how the Raelians are now an alien worshiping religion much like the anti Jesus catholics. I, Sawyer was there from day 1 for 19 years. Ask me & I'll give you the real deal. At our numerical height there were 96 members. A few months later Ti & Do told 19 of these they had to leave because they weren't ready. Over years some left, returned, left again & more were asked to leave, some sent to a half way house. Yes we did have a great new family. Yes life was easier in some ways, harder in others. Ti & Do had high standards but kind ways throughout. We were leading edge on everything.
