In the Darkside chronicles it is different. When Steve dies, You fight Alexia like normal, but instead of Chris taking on Wesker, It is engraved where Steve was in wesker's knife, "I won this game." Chris also does not fight Wesker, they just leave. Part 5 was made, but tyey are making the last 1, part 6, maybe he will be in that.

@fanOmania1996 thanks, cuz i dont like the new resident evils...... and hunk is a normal guy who has survived countless missions they should have a game where you play before the end of unbrella as hunk on some previous missions away from the main story line that means that the main characters would not be involved. and it wouldn't be in racoon city either, an old testing facility where the virus got out of hand and the building quarantined would be nice. mission kill all zombies

Silent Hill owns Resident Evil to! Capcom doesn't know how to stick to the same plot as the old games anyway. Silent Hill still is awesome. Id prefer a game with great plot and story and not a series that has been tweaked with every sequel.

I have to agree with that, Silent Hill is much cooler but Resident Evil is still cool. Sort of like comparing Syphon Filter to Metal Gear Solid. They are both good games but obviously MGS is better.

lol u forgot to mention resident evil has changed way too damn much in general. look at number 5 compared to the first game. big difference. now look at the newest silent hill to the oldest. silent hill has not changed much like resident evil. so to me i think you are right. silent hill is better. i always thought it was creepier and more atmospheric than RE anyway.

Here's my idea of RE5 - Wesker brought Chris back as a monster, and Claire knows she can get him to turn back - Chris and Claire go after Wesker to rescue Steve.
