part of the problem is that the sponcers pay millions to be on the cars which are on tv so when danica is the only one on they pay millions be be shown to the 50,000 at the track as oposed to the millions watching so then they leave it happend in indycar bobbys outher two cars lost argent and he closed then aaa lost sponcers for the outher three cars.

i'd rather see racing have no fans than the type of people danica attracts. i'm just glad she'll be out of indycar so now the nascar crowd can deal with her and i can finally sleep at night knowing indycar will have one less problem. yeah she's getting media attention but it's not the kind i want. i love the series and i want it to get noticed for the amazing drivers not just cause some woman races and wins 1 race in 7 years

lol. This is funny because at the Indy 500 this year, I got my scanner to tap into ESPN's frequency and I could hear what was being said during commercials and I heard Marty Reid literally say: "....and get me something on Danica."

Thats why we don't see hardly any of her when IRL races are on Versus. Because Marty Reid constantly wants coverage of Danica.

In reality, Marty's pissed to admit Danica increased the ratings of ARCA races because they're covered by a superior motorsports brand in SPEED. He sees Patrick only as a MHLF. Why else would ESPN keep him calling Nationwide races? Just wait, he'll get his Sprint Cup job back if Danica enters Sprint Cup fulltime, or at the very least he'll lobby hard for it.

This is my first time seeing this, and I like the points both guys made. By now, Danica's proving herself more and more each week, and her debut in stock cars, as Marty pointed out, was huge. Stewart, of course, was right too, but at least she's proving her worth these days.

Danica isn't particularly good at Indycar or NASCAR. Her single Indycar win was gifted to her by a Penske car running out of fuel, and she can't do road courses to save her life. But she's hot, so my god give her TV coverage. People are stupid.
