Hey Champ i was using Squidgy Silver Fox fish 100 mm soft plastics and other assorted Squidgy plastics with a 3/8 " jighead ..... 6lb Braid and 16 lb flurocarbon leader - hope that helps and thx for the kind comments

Gday champ - thx for kind words ... My PB is 95.5 cm and a mate got one at 98.5 cm which features in Episode 6 , still waiting to crack the magical 1 meter [ like a unicorn do they exist ] : ]

@hokianga100 biggest one ive caught is a 1.05 but didnt catch it on rod was pulling in a witches hat crab trab and was caught in it biggest fish ive caught so far

When i ordered boat i turned the front into a casting deck , and got a side mount welded on the bow so i could mount an electric motor , the casting deck comes out then you can put the couches back ...

You mention an electric and you have a bowrider/runabout. How is your Leccy set up?

Thanks for kind words HeavySabre ... Unfortuneatly all the good flathead were caught while i was solo , very hard to film , net etc by yourself when your shaking at your knees ..... The correct name for those mullet are PODDY MULLET but point taken on correct names of fish ... Cheers

Not a bad vid. I've always been interested in seeing some big flathead caught in Mallacoota. But there were times when you needed someone on the camera and someone on the rod so we can see you landing the fish. Also if possible try to give more information on what u are doing and why. Also use correct terms for the fish you are filming and less slang. For example I had no idea what 'Potties' were until I heard you say 'Mullet'.You could then have a good fishing doco.
