America didn't turn it's back on Chang Kai Sheck (sp), the globalist conspirators who operate on behalf of the international banking establishment, aka the beast, abandoned Sheck (led by traitor henry kissinger). @TrishaDishaWarEagle ..,your revisionist fantasy is breathtaking, dude. Vietnam joined the WTO in 2007' and is part of southeast asias emerging economys with a majority of the population that wasn't even alive during the war.
Vietnam was a proxy against the backdrop of a 'Cold War' which ended with total collapse of the soviet union. The US after it's withdrawl from Vietnam continued a economic blockade of Vietnam for over 25 yrs and won.
@drinkswithnedkelly Warmongering? lol that's funny. I don't want any god damn war at all unless we have to. Iraq and Afghanistan were both mistakes imo.
Unfortunately history has proven both the Duke and Mr. Taft wrong. Wrong about Vietnam, wrong about China and wrong about the Cold War. The free world did not collapse due to the loss in Vietnam and China actually fought a WAR with Vietnam after we left. What IS true is that there were some very evil people on both sided promoting continual war for profit and that has been going on for a long time. Read General Butler's "War is a Racket" for detail. The US is the worst war monger in the world.
@agumon12 The worst welfare socialist programs in America is CORPORATE Socialism where hundreds of billions are handed out to large corporation EVERY YEAR and few of them pay any taxes. I worked for the sixth largest US corporation which paid NO TAXES AT ALL in the last four out of five years they were in business. And NOW thanks to the GOP dominated Supreme Court, corporations which are NOT mentioned in the Constitution have UNLIMITED political contributions. There is NOTHING more evil.
Some people say that merging of State and corporations is Fascism not Socialism! According to them US has become Fascist now. In Socialism workers had big rights, people had free education, health care, etc. But those things are not present in US 2day.
@MrSerathor My issue is not fascism or socialism but rather government BY, FOR and OF the people like Lincoln said. That may seem like socialism but it is not. IF the people through their representatives want to do ANYTHING for themselves with certain reserved issues being protected, then government should do it. If the majority wants national healthcare, then so be it and it most assuredly seems that they do, then it is not socialism by democracy in action. Read the Preamble to the Constiution
Sounds EXACTLY like the health care legislation (Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act) signed into law AGAINST the wishes of a majority of US Citizens polled!

Why Ezra, why allow Chang Kai Shek to join the war??? Simple question Ezra why do you think Chang needed to be restored after he botched it in 1949??? Why do you think Chang needed to be put back into power when the people hated his guts the last time he was in Beijing??? Because he was a Nationalist??? Because he called Taiwan the Republic of China??? Simple questions Ezra how about some simple answers???
I come from a lineage of 21 of the families that signed the Declaration of Independence. Most were 1st to 3rd cousins. I was raised by a family of long and distinguished family members, many of which were generals and decorated officers. My own father enlisted at 17 years of age as a CO and became a medic in WWII.
This video saddens me that many Americans believe they understand what patriotism is about by preaching a hateful philosophy and fear-based religion.
Thank God, Pope John Paul the Great, Lech Walesa, Ronald Reagan, Margaret Thatcher , etc.. played dedicated rolls in the ultimate game of chess with Russia,(on a global scale), to topple the Marxist, Godless regime!
It must be nice to be a old man and too old to go fight yourself eh John? After you made your money during WW2? I wish there was a hell for him to burn in.
I used to believe the Vietnam War was a valid fight for freedom. (I still believe that Liberty for All is the best policy, and that Totalitarianism is H...l). But then I learn that the Vietnam War was being fought so that the United Fruit Compnay could retain it's markets in S.E.Asia. American boys DYING so that the United Fruit Company could retain its markets? NO!!!!! Then, just now, I listen to this video....& I don't know wht to believe! Except TYRANNY, NO -- FREEDOM, YES!
The same philosophy applies today. We are already in Afghanistan and Iraq. We are winning this war. Let's not withdraw too quickly, and forfeit the gains we have already made.
BUT, let's not enter another war in any country unless it is thrust upon us. Only then can we expect to have Providence, the peaceful world community, and the American People on our side.
War is a big money maker and the biggest racket going. All this whoplaw sounds familar. We now have the tech to never have to put a boot on the ground and still win any war, why dont we use the tech we got?? I dont like seeing my fellow americans comming home with no legs or in a body bag. No, if there were no money in war, nobody would ever fight one again. Arms and legs and human lives are very cheap!! I love america but their is a better way to settel things than this B.S we got working now..
@Wreddog427 you raise a good point. but i respectfully disagree. war is how we became a "FREE" nation. or as they said in the Bourne Identity, "i'm gonna go and get him, why dont you book the conference room, maybe you can talk him to death!"
I am sorry but you are sadly misinformed. No war can be won without the Use of the Humble Infantry. Classic evidence is the Hubris of the Air Force "With Nuclear Bombers there will never be another war". Today missile armed drones are Obama's answer to the war in Afghanistan. All of these are no good without people on the ground determining whether "The Target" is actually there & not a Busload of Women & Children.
War is waste, war is evil. Sometimes war is a necessary evil.
@Wreddog427 Win a war without "putting boots on the ground"? "Arms and legs and human lives are cheap"? Its easy to see you've never been in the military. Wars are ONLY won by boots on the ground. Technology is important and our combat technology is amazing, but wars are won by willpower than anything else. History is rife with wars lost depsite tech advantage. The Vietnamese outlasted our national will and prevailed. $ as the sole source of human conflict? What planet do you come from?
@infectedvector [1] Most wars are fought over $. Smedley Butler was a Major General in the U.S. Marine Corps, and at the time of his death the most decorated Marine in U.S. history, being one of 19 people to twice receive the Medal of Honor. As wikipedia states, "He became widely-known for his outspoken lectures against war profiteering, U.S. military adventurism, and what he viewed as nascent fascism in the United States...
@infectedvector [2] ...In 1935 he wrote the exposé War Is a Racket, a trenchant condemnation of the profit motive behind warfare. "I spent 33 years and four months in active military service and during that period I spent most of my time as a high class thug for Big Business, for Wall Street and the bankers. In short, I was a racketeer, a gangster for capitalism. I helped make Mexico and especially Tampico safe for American oil interests in 1914...
@infectedvector [3] ...I helped make Haiti and Cuba a decent place for the National City Bank boys to collect revenues in. I helped in the raping of half a dozen Central American republics for the benefit of Wall Street. I helped purify Nicaragua for the International Banking House of Brown Brothers in 1902–1912. I brought light to the Dominican Republic for the American sugar interests in 1916. I helped make Honduras right for the American fruit companies in 1903...
@infectedvector [4] ...In China in 1927 I helped see to it that Standard Oil went on its way unmolested. Looking back on it, I might have given Al Capone a few hints. The best he could do was to operate his racket in three districts. I operated on three continents."
@infectedvector [5] Having boots on the ground is only meaningful when one government army is fighting another. Against a people's army of civilian guerrillas it is meaningless because guerrilla warfare is vastly more effective. Consider this as food for thought. An M1A1 tank costs $35 million. An RPG-29, which can easily penetrate any part of the M1A1, costs $1k (officially). Some ordinary guy can just have one stuck away in a closet and wait until an M1A1 drives by and poke it out the window.
@infectedvector [6] ...This is why Vietnam/Afghanistan/Iraq are so baffling to the politicians. The proper resident uniformed armies get rolled in 5 seconds every time. It's the civilians after that who win it. In Vietnam every village was an ambush. The enemy was unknown. A grenade would just drop down your pants out of nowhere. Occupation was impossible. The only option against such tactics is to kill and destroy everything and everyone on sight, which nullifies the purpose of being there...
@infectedvector [7] ...Though that is always done to some extent, it only delays the inevitable.
All that is needed for a civilian army to really defend itself is rifles. Tanks and planes are useless because a civilian population can absorb government armies. All that tanks do is drive around in circles wasting gas in meaningless "show of force" displays.
@Wreddog427 The Air Force had the same vision in the 1950's, that ground war was a thing of the past.Truth is the Air Force will never take a foot of ground.
