I appreciate this video but the chatter irritates me and distracts, I find myself fastforwarding through it which is a hassle. It would be a far better tutorial if you just played the song slowly with the camera where it is. You don't have to stop and replay things, that's what the rewind button is for.....

Great Job! On the "Unknown Chord", I believe he is leaving the G string open and playing a normal A minor formation. Hard to see what his finger is doing. The other is a Cadd 9, I believe. (Don't play the #6 string). Sounds pretty good this way and is an easy version to play, for the sound you get. As for the Naysayers, if you want music to sound like the original artist, go buy their CD. Music is 'Art" and is therefore subjective. So go bugger off.

Really nice vid but Hank plays it in double drop d and he puts index finger on the 5th fret then bars the 7th. Repeat on 3rd and 5th. Then repeat on 8th and 10th. Then back to 5th and 7th. That's the intro.

1. Your guitar sounds out of tune

2. Bend those notes, rather than hammer on to the next fret (like in the intro lick, bend the drop-D string on the 3rd fret rather than hit the 4th)

3. no need to go up to the 5th fret on the licks between verses--that can all be played around the open-3rd frets, giving it more ring and saving you a lot of hand movement
