Always loved them, always will!! Robert looks absolutely gorgeous here! Just melts my heart!! ILY Robert!! The Cure forever and always my friends!! :) ♥

  • True magic is music!!!!!!!!! The Best!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Favorite song by The Cure.. GENIUS OF MUSIC ROBERT SMITH!

  • @Devoted2Mariah

Great Pop Song of the 80s. This song is a masterpeice. Everyone made fun of 80s and 90s music and all but now that i look back it was really good. Todays music needs alot of help...............

  • @thornbuh High was actually released in 1992, along with the Wish album

  • @thornbuh you're so right

  • the good old times when the cure was in the best shape with boris williams too....

this is my fav song... no other babbling from me... just listen! ssshhhh

  • Such musical brilliance. It's quite remarkable.

  • Dang it! Can somebody help...I'm trying to find a song that was popular in the mid 90's-it was mostly acoustic guitar in the song untill the chorus then it would go away again and it was an upbeat to mid tempo song (think blind melon-no rain) very 60's sounding and seemed like they were talking about gettting high...by the third and final verse the male singer ends up singing in a whisper. It was a real upbeat catchy tune well the lyrics were well you know...anyway I'm going nuts Help!!!

  • @dismissed7

apart? maybe it appears in this concert?? give me clues i know everything about the cure!!

  • @juanandresjoseignaci Lol! what's funny is that I was waaaay off. It was another group entirely.

  • This is just priceless JUST LOVE IT <333

  • I forgot what a good mood the cure puts me in!!!

  • Beautiful song and this is such a magnificent perfomance. There are three bass guitars used here! :)

  • Euuuuuuuuuhhhhhhhhh three bass guitars used here?????? i guess two bass players are not on stage, lol

  • Porl is the only one playing a guitar here. Simon is playing the traditional 4-string bass, Robert is playing a 6-string Fender Bass (Fender VI) and Perry is playing another 6-string bass, I think (similar to the one Robert is playing).

  • I'm too lazy to do a search on this :), but they look like barritone guitars to me.

  • I do so love this song!! Such an amazing song with such a beautiful melody mixed with the ever so unique voice that Robert has !! And Robert is so handsome here as well! :)) The Cure is truly a band who has stood the test of time. They are such an awesome and amazing band!! Rock on forever Cure!!

  • Wow, This video is mind-blowing! I have the CD and I'm stunned by how this video matches what I imagined. I bought the Cure Show CD earlier this year and was just blown away. Their live version is incredible. II knew some of their songs but didn't realized how many. They've got to tour.

  • They toured 2007- earlier this year my friend, Disinintegration remaster next year so hopefully some more shows! I still havent seen them :/

  • I have lost Desintegration cd, I hope the one that have it enjoyrs it ...

  • @curedtc4

    same here

i just heard they did a 'trilogy' show in belgium

    which was extremely rare

& now i just wanna hit my head with a shovel

    for not seeing them there!

  • @simionTheOne You can buy Trilogy on DVD! =] or blu-ray

  • The only song I prefer as the studio version on Wish is From The Edge Of The Green Deep See.

  • Cure Show--vhs or dvd!!!!!: )!!!!!!

  • I've seen a bunch of videos of this concert of theirs...wish it was on dvd...

  • It will be on DVD next year :)

  • OMG! ARE YOU SERIOUS! OH THAT IS SO AWESOME! I'm getting it!

  • really? in wich country? because i'm french so i won't be in next year i guess... This is my favourite live of the cure, and wish is my favourite album with porn and disintegration..

  • My favorite song by The Cure <3

  • The bass sound of Simon Gallup is so beautifull

On the tune Open it's also incredible

  • simon is a fucking great guy. at my first cure gig in 98 he saw on an me. and he laughed. never foget. he is the god of bass.

  • The triple guitar attack is what makes this version the best.

  • this is an amazing song. these guys take there words and music to another level. And take me back to good memories. Thanks for posting.

  • The best live version of this song..or anyone knows a better one?

  • This is one of the best songs in the history of rock and roll. Amazing song that transports you into another dimension. I Never get tired of listening to it, never. The Cure, cures my sadness when I listen to today's music. Thanks to the Cure for many excellent songs.

  • agreed. it's a music in another dimension. it's outer space. flying. feeling good

  • Cure!!! : )!!!

  • i think that EMO style is taken from The Cure way of clothing.... EMo copied The Cure...

  • sort of in a way, kinda evolved. like The cure are like the 80/90s answer to MCR or Fall out boy etc..

  • Well everything commercionalizes to stupidity. The Cure was a great band, now all those who copy it are rubbish...

  • sound-wise they havnt copyed, influence maybe, but not copy.

  • and The Cure copied from Joy Division, but then so did a lot of bands, nevertheless this is a great song, deff one of their last truly great ones

  • Well, everyone copied a bit, cos.... they were listening that music as young teenagers so they copied a bit, but... I think that The Cure are more famous than Joy Division, so they evolved into something more important for the history of music. Also Robert Smith at least openly said "yes, everyone steals the tones.. ;) sometimes..."m also Joy Division is not that similar as The Cure, and surely both quite noncommercial, but what is today, those shits on MTV... :( sad to think...

  • This is probably their last great tour in terms of band sound and member's musicianship.

    The Cure 4ever!

  • AMEN!!!!!

  • THE show!!

  • todo hermoso!!

  • exelente csm

  • โคดๆ

  • real music !!!! thanks !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
