Dont forget that Rain is a very admirable, respected and humble person! His mom died when he was such a young age because he couldn't support her financially. Rain recalled the last thing she ate was ramyun. His dad left his mom and kept moving out of states. He wasnt really there for Rain so he used dancing as a way to 'escape.' Nobody really liked him in grade school till he started showing off his dance skills too. Rain is always determined and he did a LOT of concerts for all of his fans!

@independentwomenmind Rain is on the duty to go to the army ! Every korean man citizen does, its the law of Korea ! He said he will go for January 2011 ! That will last 2 years in the making ! I know it is very long !

@jeanny05 Thanks for replying. Since I had posted this I had learned about this Korean law. The thought of him not being around for two years is so sad. I have know disrespect for the way Korea does things. However, I do not feel a person should be forced to go to the military. I feel it should be thier decision. I hope when he gets out he can bounce back and continue to be successful. We need amazing artists like him in the world. I will continue to be his fan.

@independentwomenmind Actually there are more that 2 years , there are 3 years too ! It depends of the body type of military they choose ! Rain has choosen the army of earth , it takes 2 years in the making ! Plus 4 weeks of class ! The only way for Rain to get out earlier of this , is if he have a health problem they willsend him to the archives of the army ! But i don't think that will free him of that duty !

Rain will not participate in an Korean Awards show held in Macau (china ) on november 28 th , because of filming shedules for Fugitive ! So we will not see him performs there !
