  • A really nice video, thank you=) I'm happy you like Chicago too, i don't live there and I've only visited once but the time i spent there was wonderful, i think chicago is a magical place I really really loved it when I visited in October three years ago, it is such a fun and colourful city and the autumn Sun was shining nicely in chicago every day when i visited, it was a really great trip and the best week of my 19

years of life so far =)

  • @Valtteri2 Thanks, that was a nice comment! The city is really nice in October usually when all the color is in the leaves. :) Glad you had a good time..

  • Where are you at :15? that place doesn't look familiar to me

  • @wompasdub I have no idea where that is.. It is some kind of lobby though. lol. Sorry I can't be more help!

  • why is every one walking funny are they putting some thing funny in there water now ?

  • @hopatease1 I sped up the video a little bit, because normal speed is sometimes boring. :)

  • Chicago is the future home I am gonna live in after graduating!

  • @ZayaBee Lol! Me too, chi-city baby!!!sungha jung's

  • @rippen100 haha, lol, maybe we will run into each other!

  • only down side is the gotdamn cold from nov to feb i hate it

  • @almalik2012 I know a lot of folks who get driven nuts by the cold month in Chicago. I guess I am lucky since it usually doesn't bother me too much. I just hate not being able to get places easier because of the snow and ice.

  • i truly love the music

  • @hilton43R THANKS!! :)

  • CHICAGO BABY! the world's greatest city!

  • Chicago is awesome

  • people walk in Chicago?

i am from Georgia and no one walks here.

  • @BabyGirlGoddess Some areas of the City named Chicago are crowded and some are empty. You live in Georgia? My family mght move there because my mom wants to

  • @fanofzimmertwins

    yeah i live in georgia.

i've lived in the metro atlanta part and i've lived in the beach part.

  • @BabyGirlGoddess Chicago and New York have a lot of people on foot downtown.. New York probably has more, but I have only been there a few times and do not know for sure. Chicago has also been adding in bike lanes to many streets to promote more bicycling, however, they do not do nearly enough to make sure bicyclists are following the rules of the road, or understand the rules they are supposed to follow.

  • @BabyGirlGoddess BECAUSE!. ATLANTA SUCKS MAJOR COORPORATE CNN NEWS ASS!. SERIOUSLY!!!!!. NEW YORK CITY (my hometown) & CHICAGO ARE THE BEST CITIES EVER!!!!!. FUCK THE REST!!!!. SERIOUSLY!!!!!.

  • @TLJAWSIMIB

Lol. Atlanta does suck. I am counting down the days I can move out of this hellhole.

  • @BabyGirlGoddess DO YOU LIKE NEW YORK CITY THOUGH!?.

  • NYC IS FOR TOURIST . CHICAGO IS WHERE REAL PEOPLE LIVE. MUCH MORE INTERESTING THAN NY.

  • New Gotham is truly the best city in the world!

  • @RogueRaven17 you mean fake imitation gotham... nyc has been gotham before batman and after batman.

  • Build the spire!

  • @TehSmellulare the spire is dead.

  • GO HAWKS!!! CHI-CITY BABY!!!

  • Stores stores and more stores ! What else can you do there besides spending money on shopping ? By the way video and music rocks !

  • @mutombe Becuz it's michigan ave it's were most of the store in the city at. Other than there beaches, parks, theathre, shows, casinos, food etc. Chi-town!!

  • @mutombe Thanks! I worked hard on that music.. :) Downtown has lots of stores. There is a vibrant nightlife of course if your into that sort of thing as well. I don't do the nightlife scene myself too much, so for everyone else like me there is just the same stuff to do as anywhere else. There are a few museums that are fun, aquarium, planetarium, zoo's. There are also some good performing art theatres, tons of band venues all around the city. I don't get out much though. lol.

  • Chicago is a great city ,nice clip.

  • Not even CLOSE to Manhattan. Try again.

  • @TequilaJoeID , Manhattan? whos talking about Manhattan and why compare it to Chicago's Downtown is better

  • Chicago will be America's futuristic city.

Chicago is the Hong Kong of North America and the killer of NYC!

I hope they get that spire built.

  • @RobertsDigital at least nyc is still building supertalls haha.... keep mourning becuase the chicago spire and waterview tower projects are dead hahahaha

  • @Izakokomarixyz

for every closed down building project in Chicago there's probably three closed down building project in NYC. God you're such a dumbass.

  • @TickleMeElmo55 What the fuck are you talking about? Even if you were right it wouldn't matter NY is much larger than chicago... Small chicago cancelled 2 tall buildings that were under construction (spire and waterview) but what tall building did NY cancel while under construction recently?....

  • @Izakokomarixyz

It cancelled their projects because of the recession ya idiot. What does NYC's size have to do with it? Every city (read: NYC, LA, Chicago, San Fran etc) are losing projects. And its obvious you can't understand ratios. What "supertalls" are still developing in NYC? The last time I heard the only big plan for NYC were Freedom Towers. Buildings are still being built in Chicago but at slower rate due the economy.

  • @TickleMeElmo55 Are you fucking retarded? carnegie 57 is quickly rising, 15 penn plaza has been approved to begin once they find tenants, tower verre will be approved ones the architect changes the size, and the west side projects are mostly gonna be supertalls (once the 7 line extension is finished) wtf does chi have going on?

  • @Izakokomarixyz

Roosevelt University is finishing up a tower on Wabash; there is a highrise under construction on Foster Avenue at the lake called The Admiral; the Ritz-Carlton on Michigan Avenue at Erie; Lincoln Park 2520, just north of Fullerton facing the park Lincoln Park; SoNo East just south of North Ave near Sheffield; 1233 N Wells will be a midrise; and Coast, in the Lakeshore East development near Wacker east of Columbus, has broken ground and serious construction should begin soon.

  • @TickleMeElmo55 Lol most of those aren't even close to skyscraper height and none are supertalls... I'd give you a list of condos being built in NY but there are too many to list lol.... Heck we're still building bridges, tunnels (new train lines), parks, etc. It's great to live in a city that is always changing for the better, I LOVE NY! It's the BEST CITY IN THE UNIVERSE! :)

  • @Izakokomarixyz

SInce when did clutter become better? Since when did taller become better? Now unless those supertalls you've mentioned are actually completed then you can talk. Don't downplay other cities projects to elevate whatever building NYC has because that's just puss talking.

"I LOVE NY! It's the BEST CITY IN THE UNIVERSE! :)"

LOL. Don't fool yourself. Such insecurity.

  • @TickleMeElmo55 How can I not downplay chicagos projects, you're comparing mid rise and high rise condo projects in chicago with SUPERTALL SKYSCRAPER projects in NYC... face it... you lost...

And yes, NYC is the greatest city in the universe... :)

  • @Izakokomarixyz 4 of the 6 tallest buildings in the world are in chicago. GET OVER IT!

  • @ps3or360idontknow Wtf are you talking about? None of the 6 tallest in the world are in Chicago...

  • @Izakokomarixyz more of the worlds tallest buildings are in chicago, than there are in new york.. and the sears tower is the 5th tallest building in the world, freestanding and the 5th tallest with the antennae. while your little empire state building is 12th.

  • @ps3or360idontknow Well Idk where the fuck you got your info from but the WILLIS tower (I know you guys hate that name haha) is like the seventh tallest right now (antennae are not included)... Don't worry we will catch up to you guys in no time, because unlike your city that have stopped building, NYC still has A LOT of constructing to do (New supertalls in the west side area in manhattan are expected to be very tall)

  • @Izakokomarixyz Be sure to come back here and brag some more when all those condos are sitting empty like trump tower

  • Chicago is the best city in AMERICA! none otha can compare!

  • The music score definitely rocks. Kudos to the talented author for this awesome clip.

  • Thanks! Glad you enjoyed my music, and the video too. :)

  • i love the beat xD

  • Hey! Thank you! I definitely spent some time putting it together.

  • I am from NYC, but I would have to say that Chicago is the only ciy that can stand in front of New York City with honor

  • @emperor0989 both magical cities =)

  • what song is that??

  • Its just a song I made in my freetime. :)

  • Love this place! Everybody walks, everybody stays in shaped and healthy! I live in OKC, and everyone here drives, which results in obesity. 8 out of 10 people here are real fat! People here hardly exercise! If they have time, they'd drink, hang out with friends and have sex! I really want to get out of this city and move to Chicago! I went there last summer and I felt like i was in another country! I was amazing!

  • I can't tell you how much i agree with you. I go to OU now, but I'm from Chicago. OKC really can't stand next to Chicago.

  • I'm just so sick of this city. There's hardly anything going on in the city ever, and I'm just so sick of seeing fat, lazy people with no fashion whatsoever everywhere!! When i'm done with UCO, I'm planning on moving to Chicago for a job! Wish me luck! :)

  • Wow that's awesome. Yeah I definately know what you mean about OKC. Nice people, but not a lot to do. Best of luck in Chicago!

  • where is okc? oklahoma?

  • I think it stands for Oklahoma City?

  • Where is the place shown at 0:20??

  • It is inside a big store downtown. I believe the building is called "Macy's on state street" now because that is what is written on the outside of the building. Used to be called Marshall Fields.

  • haha okay thanks :] I will have to visit that place when I go to chicago for my spring break vacation

  • I was 26 years old the last time I was in Chicago and now I want to go back to visit my beauty city.

  • A great city. I wish people like hhhrolling and adrianblue would stop trashing every Chicago video. adrianblue claims he's on a mission to deal with everyone who claims Chicago is the "best" city, but it's clear all someone has to do is say Chicago is a nice place for him to show up and start copying+pasting meaningless statistics.

Either they're obnoxious trolls, or people insecure about LA considering LA is renowned for its gangs, airhead culture, melodramatic celebrities, and smog.

  • Chicago is depressing, dirty city with bad weather and only depressing, dirty people with no imagination, who live in that shithole, can call it nice.I really feel sorry for Chicagoans or whatever those losers call themselfs.

  • A troll and a miserable speller. That's too bad.

  • I just don't think a 34 year old who can hardly spell has much business trying to brute force his opinion. Especially when they call Chicago a dirty city, despite being ranked as one of the cleanest big cities in the country.

Can you do better to prove your point than to spew flawed statements and blame the weather, which many do not mind? Are you one of those LAtards that believes that smoggy Mediterranean Summers are the only form of good weather?

  • You are moron.Chicago is no less smoggy than LA.And I guess you never saw how clean city looks if you are calling Chicago clean. When it gets windy, fucking garbage are flying all over that town.Like I said, few blocks west of the State street and you in the middle of a fucking ghetto.

  • You're an idiot who mistakes personal opinion as fact. This whole idea that Chicago and LA share the same amount of smog is absurd. Chicago's smog level is moderate on average, LA is often severe.

Also, where do you get this whole thing about trash blowing around?

  • Oh, wow, one google search of "hhhrolling" reveals that you go around numerous sites trashing the city, and you call other people losers?

    Wow

    Hahaha

  • You googled me?Nice!Sorry, but I will not give your persona that much of attention. You must have a lot of free time.Highschool drop-out?

  • A google search takes less than a minute. It's also 11PM, nice try.

  • Chicago really sucks. And people who live there .

  • Yeah, okay!

  • I am IN LOVE with Chicago! Man, I wish I lived there.

  • Chicago doesn`t have a style like New York or Los Angeles. Weather is nasty overthere. Its just a dirty and depressing place.

  • LOL. Dirty? Well at least we have alley ways to put our trash in, unlike New York where you keep it on the front lawn. :) Oh yeah, and we get street cleaning in the summer and snow plowing in the winter too.

Well, I think the city of Chicago is still great and I have also been to New York and L.A. No city is perfect though IMO, I mean there are plenty of things wrong with N.Y. and L.A. just like Chicago has plenty of issues too. Lets build a new utopia city! Anyone?

  • Just a few blocks west of State street and its a ghetto. And when it gets windy, trash is actually flying all over your city. Especially in the south side of Chicago.

  • haha youre joking.. chicago is the cleanest city ive ever seen... even better than zurich.. and new york is just a bin.. but its great ;)

  • Los Angeles is an utter shithole with no redeeming qualities whatsoever- you can see the smog everywhere and the roads are built all over the fucking place because of the hills which mess up the flow of the city, and the downtown is tiny compared to Chicago's. LA is mostly just suburbs of movie stars and gangbangers and Mexicans. New York also gets a lot of similar weather, and isn't any less depressing than Chicago, even though neither of them are depressing.

  • 00:13-00:21 what si that place called(mall)?

  • I remember being there once, but dammit!! Can't remember...I think it might be John Hancock, not sure.

  • Originally the mall was called 'Marshall Field and Company' and it still has plaques with that old company name written on the outside. I think its a fairly historic building and might have been the headquarters for Marshall Field, not sure though. However the building is now owned by Macy's. I believe the building is called "Macy's on state street" now because that is what is written on the outside as well. The address shown in the google maps is 111 N State St Chicago, IL 60602.

  • mann chicago seems very intimidateing, but fun at the same time!

  • Chicago is the most beautiful American city i've been to. The architecture, the river (especially at night), the parks. I even love the subway cars, lol I hope they don't retire them anytime soon with the plain, boring looking ones we have here in NY.

  • @phonedial9 dude our nyc trains are like new york city icons.

  • @Izakokomarixyz Maybe so, but then again, everything about NY is iconic.

  • @Izakokomarixyz

No they aren't. Chicago's EL is more iconic than NYC's transportation.

  • @TickleMeElmo55 You're kidding... right? I can't really take you seriously if you think Chicagos EL is more iconic than the NYC transit system... Even our elevated lines are more world famous than chicagos....

  • @Izakokomarixyz

    No, I'm not.

  • @TickleMeElmo55 Well then I guess you just have second city syndrome...

  • @Izakokomarixyz chicago is called the second city because it rebuilt itself after the great chicago fire, therefore making it "the second chicago" or second city.

  • the funny thing is that would be a not crowded day...Go to the taste of Chicago, at least two million people walking around

  • damnnnnnnnn i wanna move back now, why did i leave?!

  • Chicago kicks ass! best city in the United States, bar none!!!

  • :13-:21 that place was really cool. biggest mall ive ever been too =D

  • What is up with this music!? Its sooo bad!

  • I made it for fun in my free time, sorry you don't like it, I guess its not for everyone.

  • its not the music that matters,

its the excellent footage he took of the best city in the country

  • LoL, thanks..

  • The song makes me Crazy!! ... i dont really like this kind of music but this one is amazing! =D

Nice city by the way!! ;D

  • Hey thanks!

  • Its fun to watch how idiots from Chicago getting angry when somebody says the truth about this lousy town.Come on losers, send me an angry e-mail.lol!

  • Your funny, lol.

  • well guys , honestly Chicago is the most beautiful city in the States i go often there and i am really in love with this city ...Gorgeous.

  • Person below me..,

you must be taken fricken crazy pills.

    Chicago is home :]

    Best place to be.

    Go take more crazy pills.

  • Chicago is so dull and boring.Very stupid city.

  • are you kidding me i love downtown chicago. well its ok everyone has their opinions.

  • Hey, do know adrianblue777? You're both 33 yr-old Americans who last logged in on the exact same day! Coincidence? Adrian also posts comments on nearly every Chicago-related video about how "dull and boring" the city is. Must be hundreds of posts by him about how much Chicago sucks. Obviously something went wrong during "both" of your visits to Chicago.

  • I bet Adrianblue and that imbecile above is the same adolescent loser. The vocabulary preference he chose to use exemplifies his ignorant views. He probably didn't like CHI because ignorant people aren't welcomed in the CHI!

    GO CHICAGO!! BEST CITY!!

  • @ :24 Oprah lives in that highrise building

  • Nice music!

  • @undergroundhousecom Thanks!

  • next time i go to usa im taking my neew handheld pda gps with wifi. I realized that walking on foot is not a good idea in usa. mountain bike will be coming next time as walking sux. a paper map itself is too much hasle comparted to gps. Cycling looks like a really nice way to get around the usa streets.
