This all seems a little melodramatic to me. Like James Loewen, I'm Canadian and over here I'd say more men are intact. That said, I always felt proud, even from the time I was a kid, that mine looked the way it did. In the change room at the swimming pool, I always thought the intact kids had the funny-looking ones. there are devices like the ManHood that will act like an artificial foreskin, and you can also google "foreskin restoration" as an option. there are methods where you can train the skin to go back over the glans and actually grow extra skin. it's not the same but it helps

Truly, circumcision prevents disease. No doubt about it. Being cut or uncut is fine. Uncut men have to care more for the cleanliness of their penis whereas cut men spend less time cleaning. I truly believe his mother thought she was doing what was best for her son back then, but the mothers of today (mostly) are aware that circ is unneccessary and basically a cosmetic procedure. What a moron. Circumcision is proven to prevent AIDS and other viruses. What you should be making videos about is the widespread female circumcision taking place in other parts of the world in order to prevent female sexual pleasure - not only does it prevent pleasure, it causes the women to be more susceptible to infection, and causes sex to become very painful later in life.

A circumcised penis will have a tougher, harder glans which may better deter virus from getting through the skin IF you are stupid enough to have sex without a condom. In modern society, affordable condoms are everywhere so use a condom if you're cut or uncut; or be abstinence to be 100% safe.

This man is very well-spoken about the issue, and his mother is surprisingly open for a woman of her generation. It's refreshing to see.
I wish doctors would realize they are disregarding their ethical mandate as healers when they cut off healthy tissue from a baby without sufficient scientific data. It should take a mountain of data to begin such a widespread mutilation of children, instead of a few baseless hygiene concerns. They must open their eyes.

There are a lot of things in this world to be angry about, but that doesn't mean he doesn't have a right to be pissed off about something that was harmful and unnecessary that was done to him because of cultural norms. I would like to see the United States government take some kind of a stand against circumcision. I'm not sure how they could do it; perhaps tax it excessively (tax both doctors and parents), or simply make it illegal. Circumcision is far too destructive for its so-called benefit. It takes 5-10 seconds for a man to clean the foreskin, but takes longer than that to clean the underarms. Should we have our underarms cut out with a chainsaw? What about ears, nose, toes,...

Circumcision does not prevent disease, that is a flimsy and very tired excuse. Those who think intact men have to spend more time cleaning do not understand normal anatomy and how easy it is to clean the most accessable and pleasurable parts of the body. Pretending to be neutral on this issue is lame. Some infants loose far more than just their foreskins, some their whole penis, and some loose their lives. "Being cut or uncut is fine" is a declaration of ignorance on a serious issue.

1. I get pain and discomfort from wearing certain clothes because they chaff against my exposed glans.
2. The gliding action of the foreskin aids in sexual pleasure. I have like 1% of my foreskin so that gliding action is nearly non-existent. I have to use a lot of lube to make up for that.
3. I have resentment towards my parents for doing it to me and to this day still supporting circumcision.

there are devices like the ManHood that will act like an artificial foreskin, and you can also google "foreskin restoration" as an option. there are methods where you can train the skin to go back over the glans and actually grow extra skin. it's not the same but it helps

Truly, circumcision prevents disease. No doubt about it. Being cut or uncut is fine. Uncut men have to care more for the cleanliness of their penis whereas cut men spend less time cleaning. Penises are beautiful no matter the foreskin. As long as the penis performs what it needs to, being cut is purely cosmetic and hygenic. This man's deep-seated anxiety is obsessive and useless.

This is so sad. Mothers are often victims of circumcision, as well. This is why it is so imperative to get this information out there; people must learn the truth! Thanks for uploading this! I hope people will look at this video and realize that their son may grow up like this man but their son may not be so forgiving. I truly believe his mother thought she was doing what was best for her son back then, but the mothers of today (mostly) are aware that circ is unneccessary and basically a cosmetic procedure. Even the AAP doesnt recommend circ. So mothers, please be aware that this could be your son someday.
