  • Great performance. I wish Ronson was here.

  • GREAT TUNE ON HEAD SET WALKING AMONGST THE RUSH HOUR ---IN URBAN LIFE.

  • Bowie rules. Other versions fade into obscurity.

  • I think Cream just got Rick rolled.

  • very nice good song

  • this shit sucks. cream is the best

  • С днем рождения, прекрасный и великий Дэвид! Смотрим Голод и слушаем твои великие песни! Вот это настоящий праздник)))

  • so damn sexy man..........

  • Shut up and listen, shit english people. You're not the centre of the world.

  • "...if i feel a little unsafe where i'm going, than i'm going in the right direction. Feeling comfortable with what i'm doing, something's wrong" <33

  • im wet for bowie hou shit is so sexy guy

  • bowie just kicks ass for 40 frikin years.

  • zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz this guy is a great singer but man, he sure talks too much :) hahahaha

BOWIE JUST SING OK? NO TALKING :)

  • @jetsonic69 asshole

  • @jetsonic69 But I love it when he talks! :) His voice is so sexy.

  • so gay, i prefer creams one

  • @frozenroby i think people from peru are the ugliest in the whole world.

  • @666prep i'm from italy idiot

  • I like it. The original is the original, but this is quite alright, as is Belinda's cover.

  • Bowie is The best!

  • David Bowie can sing anything anyway he wants. We know he has the talent. No matter how he cover a song,he simply cover it in the mood he is at the moment. he is not trying to copy anyone.

Great voice,Great performer,Very profesional. Seen him in ealy 2000ish in Quebec city. Prince and Madonna stand very well next to David as they are as good and professional.

  • Well....you must've been quite "comfortable" then, since "Lodger".....if you catch my drift~~~~Bowie quote :"I've rocked my roll, I will be the next Sinatra, and I will succeed"....enough said ╭∩┐(◣_◢)┌▬┐

  • What you have done? This cover is shit. If you love this CREAM song don't sing it anymore. OK?

  • @docodrilo Butthurt 12 year old Cream fanboy who only heard about them a month ago and now thinks he's known them for all his life? I could tell.

  • Holy, batman, Batman! Killer version of the Cream original!

  • How dare he distort such an emotional and poetic song and turn it into pop.

  • you can only hit vocal notes such as herein if you're wearing baggy trousers [as is mr bowie !]

  • OMG - Bowie sings low and I just want to scream like a little girl ...

  • Bowie should've done this like the live version he did during the early parts of the Ziggy Stardust Tour in 1972, he did this song (as I have heard) only 7 times live, you can find about 2-3 versions live on Youtube... makes you wonder....

  • Amazing distortion on his sax to sound like a guitar.... Listen to those drums.... So high in the mix. Just love it!!!

  • i was a big bowie fan in the 70s.

god, thi is disappointing. that terrible 80s sound and the mixing balance is all wrong.

since when is the drums meant to be louder than the lead vocal?

the cream original is 100 times better.

  • Classic example of messing with a real classic and ruining it big time...Dull, dull dull.....hes turned a vibrant summer anthem into MUZAK......UGHHH !!!!!

  • How cool is this ! Great cream cover--Davie Bowie style.

  • The thing about Bowie that continues to impress, is that he turns his fans onto new music.

He produced an excellent documentary on Scott Walker, and has been instrumental in getting Arcade Fire on the map.

  • That has to be the tiniest sax of all time because David Bowie is like 5 foot 2.

  • @Beatnikzombie ...He's 5'10".

  • @Rocky15151515 According to who?

  • This is pretty funky. I never really paid attention to this song when I first listened to Black Tie White Noise, but I'm willing to give it another listen. That's one of the things I really like about Bowie's music: I can go back to a song I once hated and all of the sudden like it.

  • merci @drah2001j'adore

  • Thank you SO much for posting this, LOVE David Bowie and love the freedom vibes of this song!

  • How about Robert Palmer (RIP)?

  • @Lucvanacker Robert Palmer is dead?

  • I like most of his stuff, but this is sacreligeous shit, this the worst crap I've ever heard him do. You can't re-interprete Cream, they were the best, and they remain the best at their game. This is pure self indulgent claptrap

  • @tuleb I think it is pretty self indulgent to post a comment four times;-) But seriously, can't say I agree with you at all. This is a total reinterpretation so far removed from the original that it is almost a new song. I love it.

  • @tuleb actually it's just a cover that he's doing in his own style instead of copying cream. calm the fuck down.

  • I like most of his stuff, but this is sacreligeous shit, this the worst crap I've ever heard him do. You can't re-interprete Cream, they were the best, and they remain the best at their game. This is pure self indulgent claptrap

  • One of the best covers in music history, but what else would you expect from David Godwie?

  • Voce da BRRRRRRIVIDO lungo la schiena aaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

  • He's amazing and I think he did an absolutely great job with this song!! I love it!....and him. :-)))

  • Well, what does?

  • This song is nothing without Jack Bruce's bass riff.

  • I'd say Mick Ronson's guitar is a good substitution;-)

  • I will always prefer his versions. I just can't get enough of his voice and .....him!

  • what he said in the beginning? If I feel a little unsafe where i'm going-than I'm going in right direction.Yes!This is a challenge.

  • love u david always

  • I'm sorry, I know this is gonna cause a riot but I'm gonna say it anyway. Bowie kicks Prince's ass. (And he doesn't crucify his fans for using his stuff). Love that Bowie.

  • That is true. Prince has always alienated his fans. That's why his popularity waned over the years. You have to be open. Once his record sales fell .. he started giving interviews....

  • Indeed. I admire Prince. I think the guy has talent to burn, but he really makes it hard for you to like him. I think Bowie's always understood the importance of consumer participation. Prince holds onto his music with an iron fist whilst Bowie throws it to the wind. No prizes for guessing whose work will go the greater distance and take root the strongest.

  • @Aueneye

I agree, who's prince anyways compared to bowie, he's been doing good music since the mid 60s.

  • @VoodooFlintstone : In fairness, Bowie is older and therefore has a longer career. My point is that Bowie just seems to be a nicer guy. Nicer to his fans anyway.

  • @Aueneye

I'm on YOUR side, I agree with you.

    Read my post properly.

  • @Aueneye No riot. Prince sucks ass. Literally.

  • @Aueneye Bowie is my favorite, but Prince does not get his ass kicked by anyone.

  • @ChristianColeman : Your right, he's too busy kicking his own ass.

  • @Aueneye

I love Bowie and Prince too, I totally understand haha!

  • Sex on legs in this vid.........x.........

  • Wow! I didn't realize he could sing that low, or play the sax that well! Amazing! I wish he'd play the sax more, or get a bit more recognition for it. How many lead singers also play their own sax solo?

The arrangement on this is a bit Fame meets Let's Dance - a nice amalgamation

  • That's a sharp analogy, I can hear that, now that you mention it.

  • He has quite the vocal range.

  • @188Inches Yeah, after listening to aladdin sane and then low, i was just blown

Actually, same feeling with outside and heathen for example

  • absolutely one of the best love songs EVER!!!!!

    ronson rules!!!!!!

this was my favorite tune from this album.

  • the whole"black tie white noise album"is probably the best, most mature stuff he´s ever done.there are people-even avantgarde-who would never get the grip to conceive&write a song like"jump they say".the whole album can build you up in depressive times, that is why i love this guy-not because of his "image" -though he has very funny moments-but for his artistic sensibility and diversity.and he comes from jazz in the 60´s,which one can clear hear on the album.good idea to get lester bowie here

  • excellent point. i think this is a very under-rated album, too.

i really, really love this cover - dare i say, more than the original....

he was great to see live the three times i have seen him. always professional and on the money with his audience live.

  • me too!!

  • I love this song!!!!

  • I dunno; don't you think this version is a bit more...well, musical?

Very different versions, but this does it for me.

  • OMG THIS SOOOOO AWESOME OMG OMG OMG

    LOVE IT

    LOVE YOU

    ahahah

  • tanx, tanx and tanx! nice performance of him, again! love the man!

  • I love to see this vid just to hear what Bowie says about his way of creating his music:" I think the best rule for me is that if I feel a little unsafe where I'm going then I'm going in the right direction..."
