Never thought it'd be any good. I don't get why many people are thumbing you down (I wasn't aware that Supergirl was all that popular), but oh well. But since this is another theme month, I can't wait until you cover Scott Pilgrim vs. The World (which is a Comic book movie).

Also, I can't wait until February 8th when you do your R&R on Suburban Knights. I may like Doug Walker's videos, but his movies are crap.

I guess it just bothered me a bit too much.

I only liked this movie for ONE reason, Helen Slater was cute in it. Still, the movie kinda annoyed me, since it's part if the Superman franchise and 'most' of the Superman movies were good. And yes, Superman 4 was... ahem... Well, actually, 4 didn't make much sense, but hey, at least the it had villians you could SEE!

I recall hearing that Christopher Reeve was supposed to make a cameo in this film, but it was cut out. Other than Jimmy Olsen's appearance, that was the only other connection to the Superman film series.

Hellsing I think a troll with too many accounts is disliking your videos. Judging by the 'Longbox Chronicles Month' intro you'll be reviewing Scott Pilgrim vs The World. Believe it or not that was actually was pretty good film (IMO).

Anyways, never really had any interest in watching Supergirl, then again I didn't know Peter O'Toole was in the film.

Pardon, but would you explain what hammy acting and wooden acting is? I've never really been able to form a concrete definition for those terms...

@Azelranz Wooden acting is when the actor doesn't show any emotion. Their performance borders on being totally lifeless. For an example, let's use Hayden Christiansen from the Star Wars prequels.

Hammy acting, on the other hand is the total opposite. Emotion is overplayed to the point of almost being funny. A good example of this is William Shatner in anything he has ever done.

Hellsing. though I agree with you on much of what you said about SuperGirl. if memory Serves. Superman came to earth via his space crasft From Outter Space. However.. Kara (Supergirl) and note.. the movie doesn't explain how in any way shape or form how they came to be there. Came from INNER Space. Which is supposed to in theory explain how Supergirl was able to fly out of the lake and back into the lake and back home at the end of the movie.
