Dude I just got my final cast off today, I copletely snapped my fibula and had a slight fracture on my tibia. They put a long ass plate on my fibula, and then closed the insition with STAPLES. it feels pretty great getting the staples taken out :) (sarcasm)

just wondering what is it like to break your leg (how bad is the pain and what type of pain is it) i've never broke mine i've broke other bones.

i shattered my tibia, and compound fractured my fibula.

they drove a nail down my tibia, screwed it in at both ends, and left the fibula fractured, told me it'll go back.

The pain for the first hour is like a 10 out of 10.

sharp pain, really sharp pain....

@SS3JackStudios dude, i crashed a motorcycle in a curve and got my ankle caught between the bike frame the road as the bike flipped, finally tossing me down the pavement and the bike into the shrubs (hedge for you mates) its been almost two years, several surgeries, countless hours of rehabilitation training and its still not even close.

@SS3JackStudios thanks bro, i used to be real bummed about it. but, based on the cracks on my full face helmet and the complete shredding of all my clothes I thank God for letting me live to raise my kids. i would rather hobble around with my son in the yard than watch him from wherever God would have sent my soul

its different for everyone i broke my left leg and i was in so much pain and i recently broke my right leg and it barely hurt at all the left one i was just in a cast for a while but the right one that didnt hurt much i needed surgery on so yea

I'm so glad I didn't see this before my surgery ( early Feb). how did the recovery go. I'm supposed to go in about a week to get one screw removed and then I can walk on it again. How was it when you could finally walk on it again?
