Damn I wish I had been able to actually meet The Duke in person.

Sadly though he passed away just 5 short years before I was even born.

My dad still made sure thought that I was raised on his movies and others like them so I would grow to be the man I am today.

It makes me sad to see how so many haven't learned to be as patriotic and honorable as Wayne was.

May you rest in God's grace, Wayne. You are truely missed.

Part of the reason why the areas used to film are called Ford Country and the characters Wayne portrayed are some of the most talked about roles of all time.
