-merely on shock imagery and cutsie heartstring tugging footage, so if you want to be effective, get out there and educate people on the benefits of a balanced diet. It's not lie you make that these are true conditions of many, but not all, farms being that free range exists after all. If I might give some advice to your group however, do not become the same brand of self righteous douchebags and professional agitators that populate PETA, and recognize that we do have the choice as an omnivorous species to eat the flesh of other animals for sustinence and preference. Your cause dies by acting simply on disgusting imagery-
The imagery disgusts you for a reason. How does the cause of wanting to prevent cruelty to animals die by showing what is done to them? You are right that you have a choice to be omniverous if you want. Free range farms do not provide superior humane conditions as they claim to do. Read more about it if you want to know. I am not representing any group here so do not automatically assume I am a member of PETA or that I'm a self-righteous douchebag. Best wishes to you.
Hello. I do not unquestioningly support PETA or any group. All animal rights and welfare groups have their problems. No organization of any kind operates perfectly to the satisfaction of all, including its members. Despite what PETA's faults are, that has nothing to do with my beliefs and in my opinion, it doesn't mean I shouldn't support the prevention of cruelty to animals of all species. Thanks for stopping by my channel and have a good day.
Before i discovered peta2 and all the other organizations against animal cruelty,i ate meat like ALL the time.i like didnt care,it didnt cross my mind to even bother looking at the ingredients in what i was eating or using for my body. But im starting to change my eating habits and actually reading whats in what i eat and in what shampoo and other hair and makeup products i use.i can say im WAY more cautious now and its all for the better (:
I was vegetarian for 1 year and 3 months before I went vegan. I've been vegan for 4 months, so no meat for 1 year and 7 months and it's one of the best decisions I've ever made.
Of course animals and humans die maturally. You missed the point of this video. This video was meant to show you animal suffering. Eventually I will die but that doesn't mean that I have to suffer in a cramped cage on a factory farm. Please watch this again.
if you choose to eat the meat, sure you killed an animal, but it would have died anyways. The real problem here, even as you showed in the video, is the quality of life for the poor animals in the farm. They deserve a better lifestyle. NOT eating the animals would actually keep the farms populated more heavily, resulting in meanless deaths, and also put the people who work at the farms out of business. In the end, one animals death causes many benefits, it seems. Correct me if i'm wrong. :)
1) Would have died anyways... Slippery slope logical fallacy. Murderer- "he would have died anyways"
2)Not eating animals would keep farms more heavily populated. That's completely wrong. Supply and Demand. The farmers control the population so that supply equals demand. If demand goes down so to does supply. The farmers stop breeding so many.
3)Jobs- slippery slope logical fallacy. Is anything that creates jobs OK now? Would that argument have worked for slavery? thieves for that matter?
Hi, thanks for commenting. Your statement isn't accurate because farmed animals are created to be killed, they didn't exist in the wild. Humans breed them to kill them. No natural causes there. Have a good day !
Forgot to add one other thing: farmed animals' life spans are wayyyyy shorter than the lives they would live out naturally. They are killed way earlier as property of man than they would die naturally. Bye for now. :)
WE HAVE A CHOICE! and the majority of us agree that animals are tasty so we CHOOSE to eat them. and actually, not ALL of our meat, milk, and eggs come from animals being cooped up in cages. free range means animals are able to roam free until they are killed and since they dont have that long of a life in the first place, why not eat them?

People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals? It kills animals.
In the thousands.
Google "PETA Kills Animals" to read up on how many domestic animals they've killed.

What your saying is simply unintellegent.

4) the better lifestyle- Agreed, would be nice. People are greedy though, we'd need some good laws and regulators.
Meat also contributes largely to other issues. Global warming, world hunger, Health issues, animal welfare issues, among other things.
You've been corrected... your welcome :)

If nobody ate meat the animal would die of natural causes.
