Sam Carter said in an interview that the new album that they're yet to record will be a lot heavier. Fingers crossed that they stick to that plan. I like Devil's Island, but not this. I expect far better from a band as good as Architects. Fair enough if people do like it, but this really isn't the best that they're capable of.
