There are reasons to bathe your cat, I bathe mine regularly and he's fairly used to it. Certain skin diseases or flea treatments, as well as reducing allergens may require bathing. Maybe he even got into something that needs removed from his fur. If you have an animal that needs to be cleaned and are likely to end up with one or both of you injured from going through the process manually, this is definitely a good idea. He is frightened, but not harmed. And neither are you.
It's comforting to know there are so many budding serial killers out there. Maybe someone will do the public a favor and put you in the spa machine for a few HOURS.

This is in no way funny. I don't care if it is just water. No animal should be forced into this kind of situation. If you didn't want to take the time to take care of your cat properly, then you shouldn't have gotten it in the first place. Obviously this cat is terrified. This "pet spa" is inhumane and unnecessarily cruel.

That poor thing! Yeah, the jets should be a little cooler, not in such high concentrated blasts, the pressure from that can really hurt, and come from above! Below their feet. It's just.....it's not right.

No, this cat does not realize it is "just a bath" to the cat he is being placed in an enclosure and being shot with hot water (the water is hot,u can see the glass instantly steam up). Cats don't like baths because most DON'T LIKE WATER! To spray them with jets of the stuff in an enclosed space? Evil. I think that place should be prosecuted for animal cruelty. kinda funny considering cats don't really have a memory. although if anyone wants to talk about "conditioning" there is a right way and a wrong way. the cat will not calm down eventually. it will just know what to expect next time and freak out before you can even get it in the chamber. there are much less traumatic and more efficient ways to wash a cat.
