got xbox back from service center today flashing 3 red ring, fan does not kick, disk tray does not open and microsoft support says power supply failure but it has yellow light not red does any one know if this is true or are they liars. I got the red ring on my 360 about 9 months ago. So after hours of frustration, I took the damn system, and threw it's ass out the window, piece of shit fell two stories. Then I went outside, took it in and threw it down my basement stairs. Since then I've been using my regular XBOX. Only got a good 2 years out of the 360. (sigh) thats Microsoft for you. Wish they'd go bankrupt. Sorry to say this but I'm buying a PS3 when I get the money. Fuck Microsoft, I'm sick of their shit.

It may not be dead check your wires power and av if its not that check the box on the power wire if its red or orange its your power cord not your 360 there is many errors that create three rings

I have went through 3 xbox 360 consoles in 1 year, each of them getting the red ring of death. I still have my launch PS3 and it works perfect for me. Fuck 360 and get a PS3 unless you want defective hardware and or scratched disks!

0102 GPU Error, this is usually caused by a cold solder joint between the GPU and the mainboard.

There are two theories to fixing this one deals with the "X" clamps that hold down the chips. The other involves re-Heating the chips. DO NOT attempt either of these if your console is still under warranty. If your console is still under warranty return it to the store where it was purchased or call MS to have it replaced.

To read the Error codes, its simple. 4 Quadrants = 0, 1 Quadrant = 1, 2 Quadrants = 2, 3 Quadrants = 3. Thus Icewater101's Error code is 0110. What is probably going on is either his RAM has completely failed, or the solter holding the RAM to the motherboard has cracked and the XBox 360 has lost contact to those components. This is most likely due to motherboard warping.

hmmmmm error code 0110. What error is that ?? I had a look around the net and it said that error code 0110 is not yet known !! Strange !! I hade error code 0102 which was some sort of solder joint problem, so I opened up my xbox and took out the motherboard and went over it with a heatgun... Luckily it worked and its been working now for about 2 months with no crashed yet :D
