im 13 years old almost 14 i need help because im baptised and am studing wiccan and no longer go to church what belief am i? my mom is wiccan but walked out of my life and live with my step mom and dad but my mother was baptised and so is my dad im in need of some hepful tips
@aidanlovsme You are not a belief. You can be a person who has a belief. Which one is entirely up to you. If you want to be a wiccan then be one. Being baptized is meaningless if you no longer want to be a christian.
i cant remember when i became i wiccan i can tell you it has been more then 13 years , the only realy bad religion there is , is nothing, but the fact is still there we will not go to war to convert ppl to wiccan we will not force or push wiccan on to you it is your choice it has and allways will be your choice, other relgions do go to have gone to war and is still at war and have been at war for the last 1000+ years

I am new to wicca and so far from what ive read and learnt from wiccans (3 months of researct) i totally agree with the Morales/ways etc and i am certain i choose to follow this religion. I know quite a bit and i agree with it almost entirely. But, what would i have to do to call ones self a wiccan? i wouldn't want to offend other wiccans by calling myself this wrongly etc. So from any experienced wiccan's out there, a little help? I know a few Wiccans but i haven't really had the chance to ask
Most of our problems is that we want to be accepted by people. We want so bad to be apart of a group because it makes u comfortable in ur own skin. The truth is out there read n find it. Stop changing religion, spirituality r whatever it is to fit ur way of life. Its read in black n white there is no in between.

I have been Wiccan my whole life without even knowing it! WOW! Hahaha. Raised Roman Catholic. Started questioning the legitimacy of the faith. Looked for any faiths or spirituality that I fully relate to...found Wicca. =D! Thank you so much. You just changed my life for the better.
I'm glad I found out where I belonged to. I'm no longer a christian. I've been a christian for more than 21 years, but not anymore. Witchcraft truly changed my life and now I felt much better as a Wiccan man. I wished I threw away the Holy Bible and all those Christian stuffs. I no longer accept Jesus as lord and savior and I don't need him anymore. I felt much more in love with Wicca and the Goddess. :-)

You don't have to be sarcastic towards them. Of course do you realize this was publish in the early 70s 1973 or 1974 by the "American Council of Witches" which disbanned in the very early 1980s. I think that was 1982. Apparently they could not agrree on anything else.
You know, it's sad that this religion is the 1st one i've found that doesnt make it a point to bash and belittle other beliefs... If only more people would reach a similar level of spiritual maturity

All religions for one reason or another (usually has some monetary gain) have been prosecuted over the centuries.Protestants burning churches, Xtians burning pagans, pagans killing Xtians...it's been a bloodbath. Preferably the Gospel of Thomas. He and Christ spoke in a bit more detail than the other Apostles, and he seemed to be the most educated out of the 12. What Christ told him is pretty unique and could make a few people scratch their heads (and or beards) in regards to the standard Orthodoxy of Christianity

@Lemon5eed My friend, there are wiccan christians out there. They practice as they deem fit, some just use the christian pantheon as guides. just like the Christian religion has done to all the other religions that it has deemed to be of Pagan Origin.

Thanks for this video. I am a former Catholic who is currently trying to understand more about Wicca in the hopes that I will find my destiny in such a peaceful religion. I still have a long way to go as far as learning, but this helped me so much. I greatly appreciate it.
I consider myself both of Wiccan and Christian. I support both ways but the one thing I do not like about Christianity or most other powerful religions is they claim to be the only true path. All religions except for Buddha and Wiccan have murdered people in the name of their religion. Many Wiccans hide in fear because we are deemed as satan's worshipers and we are most certainly not. Many turn to Wiccan because Wiccan accepts everyone and everything, and that to me...matters the most.

Nice video but it would be good if there was more accuracy. Wiccans share some beliefs, but not all share those so if anyone who is not a Wiccan watches this video, then hears someone give info about Wicca and it contradicts this, it will look like they don't know what they are talking about. It also makes it look like there is a creed besides the Wiccan Rede, which just adds more scripture to try to remember. But good effort. Blessed Be

So far I've heard that there is no wrong way to practice Wicca as long as one follows the Wiccan Laws, but I'm still a bit lost. What about the rituals? Or becoming a witch ( is it a choice-or does it happen over time)?
@xlheartlx the first step is a choice, witches dont seek new members, but rather let those who choose to believe find their own way. the second, which is my current step, is to find a way of learning, whether it be through books and personal experience or a local coven that might allow you to join. typically, you begin a year and a day of training which will teach you. this can be personal study, study with a class, coven, or if you happen to stumble upon a generous solitary witch.

But what u do to others comes back times three so misusing power like that is not only dangerous but also very unwise.

@Jcsimmer11 That is most likely black wicca. It is not what I practice, in fact it is specifically forbiden by the goddess. Do not be afraid. The goddess teaches that what you send forth will come back to you. Look it up in the Wiccan Law.

I am in the process of finding my Path for Wicca, and I absolutely love the religion. It embodies everything I believe. The concept of everything in nature being connected. I also believe that there's no specific gender that rules over us. Though I have nothing against Christians, I would never worship such an oppressive God. i was educated as a christian but then i had many disagrees with their ideas, so i decided to start worship the god horus, then i found buddhism, some time after i found shintoism and finally i came to wicca.

Intresting question ... I shall answer as a Christian: In none. No real Christian can grab a sword and call himself a follower of Jesus. No real Christian can abondon his brother or sister and call himself a servant of the holy spirit. Nor Christian can judge lving or deaad without betraying the lord.

I am new to wicca and so far from what ive read and learnt from wiccans (3 months of researct) i totally agree with the Morales/ways etc and i am certain i choose to follow this religion. I know quite a bit and i agree with it almost entirely. But, what would i have to do to call ones self a wiccan? i wouldn't want to offend other wiccans by calling myself this wrongly etc. So from any experienced wiccan's out there, a little help? I know a few Wiccans but i haven't really had the chance to ask

I'm glad I found out where I belonged to. I'm no longer a christian. I've been a christian for more than 21 years, but not anymore. Witchcraft truly changed my life and now I felt much better as a Wiccan man. I wished I threw away the Holy Bible and all those Christian stuffs. I no longer accept Jesus as lord and savior and I don't need him anymore. I felt much more in love with Wicca and the Goddess. :-)
I'm looking forward to meeting a real Witch or Pagan one day. :-)

You don't have to be sarcastic towards them. If anyone is truly intelligent enough and has enough interest in the Craft, they'll go farther than this video in their learning; and ultimately realize that there are as many philosophies floating around as there are Wiccans.

Of course do you realize this was publish in the early 70s 1973 or 1974 by the "American Council of Witches" which disbanned in the very early 1980s. I think that was 1982. Apparently they could not agrree on anything else.

@myclubistheclub I know quite a few practitioners that are Christian. You are definitely not alone. And if you'd be interested, you could possibly look up the Dead Sea Scrolls somewhere? Preferably the Gospel of Thomas. He and Christ spoke in a bit more detail than the other Apostles, and he seemed to be the most educated out of the 12. What Christ told him is pretty unique and could make a few people scratch their heads (and or beards) in regards to the standard Orthodoxy of Christianity

I consider myself both of Wiccan and Christian. I support both ways but the one thing I do not like about Christianity or most other powerful religions is they claim to be the only true path. All religions except for Buddha and Wiccan have murdered people in the name of their religion. Many Wiccans hide in fear because we are deemed as satan's worshipers and we are most certainly not. Many turn to Wiccan because Wiccan accepts everyone and everything, and that to me...matters the most.

Thank you to all who gave their opinions to my experience, very much appreciated. What i experienced was very real, & scared me for a long time, but i have at last found peace with what happened. Nice video but it would be good if there was more accuracy. Wiccans share some beliefs, but not all share those so if anyone who is not a Wiccan watches this video, then hears someone give info about Wicca and it contradicts this, it will look like they don't know what they are talking about. It also makes it look like there is a creed besides the Wiccan Rede, which just adds more scripture to try to remember. But good effort. Blessed Be

All I ask is for some help and guidance. I stumbled upon Wicca many months ago after an odd experience with nature, and I have been researching for some time now. So far I've heard that there is no wrong way to practice Wicca as long as one follows the Wiccan Laws, but I'm still a bit lost. What about the rituals? Or becoming a witch ( is it a choice-or does it happen over time)?

@xlheartlx the first step is a choice, witches dont seek new members, but rather let those who choose to believe find their own way. the second, which is my current step, is to find a way of learning, whether it be through books and personal experience or a local coven that might allow you to join. typically, you begin a year and a day of training which will teach you. this can be personal study, study with a class, coven, or if you happen to stumble upon a generous solitary witch.

ok, strange question, just want opinions. if somone looks like and calle themselves wiccan; but goes around power playing, intimidating and pshycically attacking( in one instance when staring into my eyes, their eyes turned from blue to black and all the ari was pushed out of my lungs) WHAT IS THAT!??? from what i understood, that is not wiccan...?

@Jcsimmer11 The energy used to makes things come to pass is neutral and whether it becomes good or evil (to stay in these concepts) is dependant on the person that uses it.
But what u do to others comes back times three so misusing power like that is not only dangerous but also very unwise.
Plus not loads of people are that strongly attuned to the power i think so chances of encountering one and also one that misuses it is slim to none

@Jcsimmer11 That is most likely black wicca. It is not what I practice, in fact it is specifically forbiden by the goddess. Do not be afraid. The goddess teaches that what you send forth will come back to you. Look it up in the Wiccan Law.

I have lost my wiccan book as I lost my faith in wicca 4 years ago and it has just rekindled over these last few months. I am now having to re-learn much of the wiccan faith. I am in the process of finding my Path for Wicca, and I absolutely love the religion. It embodies everything I believe. The concept of everything in nature being connected. I also believe that there's no specific gender that rules over us. Though I have nothing against Christians, I would never worship such an oppressive God. I disapprove of their views that a woman's cycle is sin, and that males are better than females. I'm glad I found Wicca. Blessed Be.

@FangirlHasRabies I agree with what you say about the christian religion as well...I noticed well Im 95% sure that all the testaments in the bible have male names, plus God is said to be a guy, he had a son, and he created a man before a woman, it was the three wise men who went and saw jesus....The bible and christian religion is quite craftily sexist....Im glad to have found Wicca aswell, its so much more open and accepting of different views and different feelings. Please do not hate me but I am a Christian. I do not turn my back on people that I care about and I am very accepting of other people's belief. I do not believe in the Catholic faith though. I do not like fighting and would very much like to avoid any conflict. I thought this AMV was very informative about the wiccan faith. And the songs were very beautiful as well.

Intresting question ... I shall answer as a Christian: In none. No real Christian can grab a sword and call himself a follower of Jesus. No real Christian can abondon his brother or sister and call himself a servant of the holy spirit. Nor Christian can judge lving or deaad without betraying the lord.
Yes people wich called themself Christians fought for gold and blood. But if you look into the bible... there are only few who follow the path.
