I love it when my munchkin gets up on her hind legs like that :) as for their agility. They can still jump very well considering their size. Mine gets nervous before she does it but she can do it fine

I dont really like the idea of these lil cats :( Their small legs must prevent them from doing such agile movements and activities that regular cats can do, it seems a bit degrading almost. They are cute, but their just like cats stuck as kittens ><

@shalarychortles Not at all, cat spines are especially flexible so they don't have the same back issues like, say, older dachsunds have. Munchkins can move just like any other cat.

My Munchkins can run as fast and jump as high as any of my (non Munchkin) other cats. their back legs are quite strong. I have found nothing to be adverse in them and I love mine SOOO MUCH! I have 17 of them - Julie @ countrymunchkins in Texas

I kind of feel sorry for them though. I don't THINK they'd be able to run as fast or even like a normal cat. Think about it. If a munchkin and any cat with normal legs were chasing each other, and the munchkin can never catch the cat, it may begin to recognize this and stop playing that way altogether. Then it can't experience playing like a normal cat. But hey, that's just me, and I may be totally wrong, I've never even had one.
