You play it well, but it does need a little more time to be played with more feeling.... (slower maybe?) but your talent is obvious..... I'd love to see it played in it's entirety by you..... It took me about 3 weeks to learn, and as I stated earlier, still have to master the 3rd to the last page......I have to play it slower than the other parts, as it isn't as natural to me as the other parts... not yet ;-) Happy playing....
I love this song and have since I was a teen... (32 now) and finally went out and got the music for the entire film, "The Piano".....................at first the song was harder than I anticipated, but with practice, I have come to play it without music with the exception about 75% through, where I lose fingering, which wasn't practiced like the other areas..it brings me a natural high to play piano, esp when improvising and making my own music...I am going to master to entire book, I hope. ;-)
@macenkajan thank you..I play this piece since long time, so i cannot tell exactly how much practice time I needed to bring it at this level. The second part of the piece is at most demanding and you must find appropriate fingerings..Then practice hands separately and I think in max one month you would make it....
Awesome, some of the left hand configurations confuse me at times on the sheets, the patterns go from typical Einaudi style to different ones, seemingly randomly haha.
@tdxexp maybe you need to become a little more open-minded. I didnt want to be dictated by a metronome (thats not a Bach piece!) but perfoming more freely. If you dont like it I accept it, thats your taste, but let me play how I l think its better. Metronome-loyal performances there are plenty of them in youtube. Banal..
@IoannisGPetrakis i agree i believe the original version of this is robotic and leaves no where to go, this adds a more romantic touch, thanks for playing and posting
@IoannisGPetrakis The repeating of the notes in this piece leaves alot of opens for different interpretations. If he's referring to to the original notes and says you are not following them perfectly, he's right. But your version still sounds nice. You can even take it further with more feelings. Btw most versions of this piece are in different tempos anyway.
nice effort but you did not maintain the tempo.. sometimes its slower than it should be and most of the times its faster.
But i admire that you did it
