  • I just broke 5 of those boards with a straight punch no Stinger and no spacers for my first Degree test, I'll post the vid.

  • very good penetration

  • real men punch through boards in flip flops

  • Just another thing to add to my keychain lol.

  • Watching this video reminds me of my dumbass at 21 throwing a 40oz bottle into the air and shattering it whist wearing some knuckledusters...oh, the bottle did break, triumphantly so, however, my knuckles caught a little shrapnel you might say...resulting in blood spurting out everywhere and what to this day 9 years later remains a couple very deep scars...I'm sure you must have had a little ache in that hand after blasting all those boards, even with the help of comtech stinger.

  • @mrpicky510...10-4 on the ache thing...I'm an old man with artrithus and nerve damage. Yeah unless you're wearing something like a Knight's gauntlet part of you knuckles or fist is always going to hit, graze, etc...

and besides "chicks dig scars" right...lol!

  • @HELLZZARMY what is artrithus ?

  • @viss3n ...Arthritis is a group of conditions involving damage to the joints of the body.

The major complaint by individuals who have arthritis is joint pain. Pain is often a constant and may be localized to the joint affected. The pain from arthritis occurs due to inflammation that occurs around the joint, damage to the joint from disease, daily wear and tear of joint, muscle strains caused by forceful movements against stiff, painful joints and fatigue.

  • How many boards can you break against the grain?

  • @zxcv73 ...how many can you. The set-up I use for board-breaking is the common way used in testing and Martial Arts demostrations.

Now if you want to do a video of yourself breaking your hand. Well I think everyone on youtube would like to see that...lol!

  • @HELLZZARMY JT what type of martial arts do you participate in?

  • @madmoneymillionair ...Wado-Ryu Karate...

  • @HELLZZARMY awesome im currently a green belt in TaeKwonDo

  • i broke my first board today

  • @ssmaner300 ...OUTSTANDING! some say that's the hardest one to break.

  • @ssmaner300 Now theres a boy.

  • Cool video, does anybody have an idea about how to remove the "Combat Technologies" that's in raised writing? I don't want any writing on mine.

  • dude your awsome and so are your videos

  • @wookiemyke ...thanks Man...did you see my latest video? My 1st contest enter for a chance to win (2) Comtech Stinger IIs, Zippo lighter, etc...

Tell me you ate that burger in your avatar picture and won some personal glory!

  • nice

  • would be pretty cool without the spacers

  • @rocknrolljackass...check my other videos...BTDT. Broke 2 and 3 boards without spacers.

  • how many boards an u brake with your hand?

  • @Ctripp14 ...5

  • Wicked man. I have a buddy who has carried one of these on his key ring for years. I've never seen one in action before. Looks affective if used properly. Heck, even if you don't use it properly it could do some damage to an attacker. Could this break a finger if not used right?

  • @dizbuster30 ...10-4...there's what 26-27 bones in the hand. If the break is not done right (technique) you place thenm in jeopardy. Even when using a shot glass, brass knuckles, or in this case the Comtech Stinger II.

Not to mention "frame of mind" ...confidence; kime-focus/zanshin-concentration...if you don't think you can do it...don't even attempt it.

  • you hit board, board hits you

  • You know what would be better than this plastic key ring? Anything!

A brick, a pipe, a bit of wood, a knife, a scrap of metal, a chunk of concrete... Basically anything harder than a human

  • @PlebScrubber...this key ring/fob is designed to be unassuming, innocuous, non-threatening.

what you're going to chain your keys to a brick, lead pipe, scrap of metal...good luck walking around with that...much less putting it in your pocket...LOL!!!

  • @PlebScrubber Well good luck carrying your bricks and pipes and concrete around.

  • Nice. All the kenetic energy from your arm was focused on the smaller point of the tool making the force amazingly high. Very nice mate. If i remember correctly a kobutan can achieve the same result.

  • what is that plastic thingy that the guy used?? whats it for?

  • @DKRaFiQ ...Read the additional info and click on some of the links...

Personal Protection Device...carried as a key fob and if use correctly can help increase you punching effectiveness when attacked!

  • HOLY FCUK

  • ok, so there is Newtons word against Bruce Lee`s word? Hm...

  • No...the Great Master Bruce Lee was refering to his opponent.

I was just relating to an imperical fact...

  • Oh, I got that... I ment that as a joke ;)

  • where did you buy your boards from?

  • @MulaMan...my neighbor makes chidrens furniture in his garage. He bought planks from Lowes and cut them down to size for me...

  • thanks!

  • whats the material made of?>

  • Some kind of super strong, hard, durable polymer. Practically indestructable through normal use. (all their stuff is made of it)

I mean if you took a chainsaw, axe, shotgun, flame source to it ...you could damage it but, that's not normal use.

  • ordered one of these little devices after watching your videos, can't wait until it arrives! judging by your gi and belt there (and the SEVEN broken boards) you look like you have some experience, so i wanted to ask if there were any drills or pointers you'd recommend for training with it? i was just thinking basic 1-2-3-4 punch combos with a little more oomph on the stinger hand...

  • Someone else asked the same question a while ago.

I'll try a make this brief....you don't train to be able to strike better with the Comtech Stinger II

Just train (period)...the Comtech Stinger II will increase your strike approximately 60%.

Now if you're talking about "Tameshi Wari"-Board-Breaking...then learn proper technique and acquire proper instruction.

    Then just do...

    OSU!!! [KARATE EXPRESSION]-JT

  • @HELLZZARMY got it, thanks. the stinger's just a tool and shouldn't change your approach, right? i remember studying some karambit templates awhile ago that said the same thing now that i think about it.

thanks again, and i had to google the meaning, but OSU right back at ya!

  • have the grain of the wood going the other direction (so that the end grain is going from one cinder block to the other), it'll be a little bit harder to break (maybe not a whole lot harder, but harder none the less)

  • 10-4 ...but, that not the grain used in demonstrations.

If you want to make it harder...just don't use any spacers (I'm using flat wooden chopsticks which is hard enough).

I got some vids with no spacers and a foot stomp (Mae Fumikomi Geri) vid where I break 3 & 5 boards with no spacers...OSU!!![KARATE EXPRESSION]

  • i don't wanna get one of this hits in my head ^^

  • then you do the hitting...lol!

  • I'd like to use that on somebody... Someone needed a dose of Comtech Stinger today...

And actually after years of punching hard materials, my bones in my hands are actually hardened, so my knuckles are like brass knucles. lol My Knuckles are huge and protrude from my fists. I could probably crack someone's skull with just my fists.

  • dude your my hero.

  • undeveloped1's brain must be undeveloped. You don't plow/drive your fist through all the boards in "Tamashi Wari."

A linebacker, powerlifter, or strong guy could do that...MAYBE...lol!

And at the same time break their fist and/or arm. Or get a large shard of wood driven up your arm.

Be a man, train and obtain some skill, maybe you'll learn about technique and mind-set boy...lol!

  • you wouldnt have broke those boards without that because you didnt travel through them. no offense but its so much better doing it with your fists! the pain/stinging, whatever you get from breaking makes it fun. be a man

  • lol great minds think alike:)like you i have two stingers(left & right pockets but not stinger2's,i have a clear original stinger & a black one from easyrider).i also carry the pocket shark & a brushed chrome metal clipper lighter(another excellent fist load that won't explode like bic's;)other pockets (read inside jacket pockets) hold ckc custom svord hiker, spyderco native & a black rat cutlery izula that is my neck carry.

  • COOL! My latest W/E EDC is dated 06-13-09...check it out on the side or from my channel...

  • which stinger have you found to be the most effective?original stinger,stinger2 or stinger max?

  • Comtech Stinger II...I carry a clear one in my rt.-front pocket and a black one in my left-front pocket.

Since finally getting them their always part of my EDC now...

  • Gay, isn't that what your fist is for??

  • It's a demo on the Comtech Stinger II not my fist...lol!

  • wtf? dis gota b fake right

  • It's real alright and the spacers I used were chopsticks. Check out the rest of the Board-Breaking/Tamashi wari videos...

  • dang man u strong as hell das y yo name hellzarmy lol

  • FYI

None of your sidebar URLs work.

    ATF

  • corrected them again...working now. I don't know what happens over time.

  • all i can say is... NICE

  • then all I can say is thanks...

  • can i have one? 0.o

  • for $9.50 + shipping from my buddies at Alpha Innovation Self Defense.

  • Hey JT, that's quite impressive. If you could only keep one of your comtech for some reason, which one would you choose, the black or this one. Thanks for your great vids.

  • black is my favorite color. but, I would have to say the clear...it's already hard to see palmed or cupped in your hand.

Even more so with the clear one...OSU!!!(KARATE EXPRESSION)

  • How much do they cost? I might add one to my collection of weapons..Nice vid btw

  • I get mine from Alpha Innovations-Self Defense...$9.50...more info in the side-bar of video.

Search eBay for Comtech Stingers and you can get a Comtech Stinger and a Kelly Worden Travel Wrench (t.i.d./karambit trainer) for $14.95 from Buddha West.

  • I carry one of these on me whenever i go out, good cheap little weapon

  • YOU ARE THE F@cKING MAN!!!!!

question how woul dthi sbe applyed in a denfense role temple? neck?

  • Wherever you punch expect to cause more pain and/or damage. Search Comtech Stinger on YT you can find a self defense school in Europe.

Temple/throat with just your fist (depends on how hard you can hit) could cause major damage or death. This definitely.

Read the articles in the side-bar.

  • I am betting you make it to ten.

    :-)

  • yeah you're a tough old man, I'm older and I wouldn't mess with you--maybe friendly sparring if I lived nearby

  • Aw, JT that's pretty good, but what's with the spacers bro? And those boards sound dry as a bone, I don't know...you getta soft man? LOL. I need to see a break without spacers.....come on.....just bustin you buddy

  • those are chopsticks...the boards are closer than with normal spacers.

give me a break I'm an old man...lol!!!

  • awsome jt

    5/5

  • thanks...

  • Awesome! Great job JT!

    5/5

  • thanks Duane...

  • I think the clear ones would be more stealthy if they weren't polished to a shiny finish. Fine sand paper can take care of that.

  • 10-4...

  • man, i gotta buy one, Bruce Lee is my favourite matial artist, cool video

  • links in the side-bar...thanks...J.T.

  • Love the "Boards DO hit back" learned that myself from Iron knuckle training...

  • thanks Man...

  • you like your stingers dont you mate...

  • 10-4 like I said in my EDC update carry one in each pocket. Gotta get the new Stinger Max...so I can try it out...OSU!!!(KARATE EXPRESSION)

  • nice man,

i got the black version of it

    5/5

  • Thanks...OSU!!!(KARATE EXPRESSION)
