  • cool videos, do you have any numbness right now?

  • @zejono No numbness and I am very happy I had jaw surgery so many years ago.

  • Great videos. I would love to get surgery for my under-bite, but seeing as your top response stated that you had to foot 100% of the $24,000 bill, I was just curious how you did that - were there monthly plans? If I only had that type of money, I would do it in a heart beat. My under-bite was like yours - just a slight under-bit, but not too much that I would have a lisp or anything. Thanks again. Cheers.

  • @Alejandromichael84 there were monthly plans and I also had $10,000 saved up for the surgery. It was expensive but anything worthwhile in life usually is

  • What is the cost of such a surgery?

  • @gamerr1 mine was $24,000 and insurance did not pay a dime

  • You're awesome. thousand thanks for that we can follow your treatment all the way.!

  • @BSHHobit thanks. I am glad you are enjoying it

  • thanks for these videos. i'm 16 and have been told to start considering surgery because of my underbite and it's given me the confidence to go for it. how long did you have to wear braces for before and after?

  • u so handsome before and after omg i like your look! and... actually your videos are helpful

  • hi im 15. i have a slight underbite and my ortho says i might have to go under jaw surgery after 2 years of braces. just wondering, how bad did it hurt the day after surgery?

  • @koolaid666666 no so bad because i was so doped up on pain meds i did not feel anything

  • Hey man. Good job with the video diary. Its helpful. Just wondering how big was your underbite before the op? I have an underbite and have consulted a maxillofacial surgeon about it but i'm unsure whether i should go for the op or not as the gap is only about 5mm but is noticeable when looking at my side profile. It gives me difficulty when i eat a sandwich or something like that but i wonder if i'm being overconscious about it.

  • I am not sure of the exact measurement but you can watch the video before my jaw surgery to see how much it was.

  • is it true jaw surgery increases the lenght of ur hair.

  • Obviously this is true because of what happened to me

  • Sorry but I dont see a difference. I saw your before pic and after and I dont see a differencte. Definitely not worth 24,000 to have a couple of mm pulled back in. Maybe I'm blind but don't see it.

  • @sweetbunny9 not getting mad at u or anything but do you have an underbite like he does cuz i do. It may be because you havent experienced what it's like to have that kind of mouth but if he left it like it was he probably wouldn't have been able to eat in a couple years.

  • I could only chew with my back teeth and now I can use all my teeth. So it is much better. Plus I never accidentally bite the side of my mouth like i used to.

However, recently I did bite my tongue but sometimes you got to take the good with the bad.

  • @fatbrowne hey i heard you can loose all the feeling in your lower lip after this surgery is that true cuz it really freaks me out not being able to feel my lips and all.

  • It is true but it did not happen to me

  • @sweetbunny9 your def blind lawlz, but hey maybe yur right, anyway my underbite was 10 times worse then him, cost 35,000. hopefully i live in CANADA AHAHAHHAHAAHHAHAAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAAHAHA AHAHAHAHAAH

  • ur def blind LOL maybe u can do ur own eye surgery page

  • OMG, I am getting jaw surgery next monday and I am so scared, with my luck all the bad things will happen to me. I have an underbite and for what I understand, they're breaking my jaw into three parts and moving it forward and to the sides. I want to know if this is something that I should be nervous about and what they usually do the day of the surgery...

  • Top Jaw sorry...

  • No I think you should go in feeling good and having confidence that your surgeon will do a good job and you will be fine.

  • I had jaw surgery myself about a year and a half ago. My lower lip has slowly gained feeling back but right now its at about 50%. Did you experience any numbness after surgery and if so, how long did it take for it to come back if at all.

  • I had numbness in my jaw but it was very minor. It totally went away after a few months. I was concerned because they warn you there is a slim chance you can get permanent nerve damage from the jaw surgery.

  • Man I thought you looked hot before and you looked even better afterwards! :D

I have an underbite too and it gives me some confidence now after watching your video.. Thanks for posting this! :)

  • Thank you. I am glad that I brought you confidence. Were you able to view my fatbrowne webpage?

  • did u leave the hospital on the same day?

whats strong and weak points u hav recieved? and how long does it take to recover after the surgery, 2-3 weeks?

  • I did leave the hospital on the same day but it was at night time.

I have received all strong points since the surgery. It takes about a month and a half to fully recover.

  • hi,

Did u used to hav speech difficulties b4 the surgery? so u wore the braces first then u had the surgery? and did it change your voice tone? lol.

cus im in my late 20s and i hav got a underbite and no1 can tell i hav it lol and im a beginner so i may hav to wear the braces first in next year, could u work after 3 weeks surgery recovering?

  • No I did not have a speech difficulties . I wore braces before. It did not change my voice after.

Yeah I worked after a week and a half of getting surgery.

  • I'm getting this done next week but i have an underbite instead of an over. What's this bite splint you speak of and i've heard your mouth is wired shut for the first few days. Any truth to that?

  • I had an underbite too!

My mouth was never wired shut I just had rubber bands I had to wear afterwards

  • oh woops i meant overbite

  • how long did the numbness last? are there any spots that are still numb?

  • No there are no more numb spots

  • Heyyy, my names Eki and i just watched all of your vids,

im having the same surgery done next year or the year after :)

but im having my top jaw moved forward too,

im a severe case of this deformaty ^^'

you helped me not worry about the surgery so much, imlooking forward to be able to chew food properly :D

  • Congratulations! I am sure you will be very happy with the results.

  • omg haha ur eric foreman.

  • how painful is it?

  • post some pictures that you had before?

  • you can see those on my website

  • Great dude, i need that surgery too, the problem is, that is too expensive.

i was wondering if there was a secure or something for helping you to pay it?.

  • they wanted to give me surgery 4 my over bite. its pretty bad i can fit my whole thump between my bite. but i odnt the dentist i would break his jaw if he broke mine lol. but now i wish i woulda got it 4 years ago =[

  • I am glad

  • I got one!

  • Fuck you. I like =].

  • dude, i cant wait for my surgery. you look pretty happy with the results.

  • I am very happy and I can't find any Youtube videos where someone is unhappy with the surgery results.

    Best of luck to you.

  • you're prettier now your jaw is fixed :p

  • Thank you. A lot of girls have been telling me that. A girl I was dating didn't even recognize old pictures of me. She swore that it was someone else and it was not me.

  • i got rubberbands all around my teeth

  • shaggy o.0?

  • you look kool with long hair!

  • wait until I get my braces off next thursday. I will post another video and I have not cut my hair since before the surgery.
