wow thats really cool i found that bungies reasons for cutting the dinosaurs was because they wanted them to be infected by the flood and the enviorments which the flood were best introduced didnt fit the dinosaurs with gameplay so bungie cut the idea along with other forms of flood

@XJohnnyStoneX the finished Halo Combat Evolved game was the best game out at that time for years and many people still consider it to be the best and not just because of gameplay. Halo introduced a new style of gaming a new never before seen plot that if anything can match it, it would be Star Wars, the graphics at the time were the best and so was the game engine being used for it. it was the only game that could include a variety of vehicules and weapons to be used. pure awesome.

@BrokenAeros It was a different game. Halo (Mac) was an open world shooter with RPG elements. You could drive across the whole Halo where a war was taking place. With the limitations of the Xbox (most of all Ram) and because the game had to be finished for the console launch they took parts of it and turned it into the Halo CE we all know.

Four years ago Bungie got bored of Halo and asked to be released. MS said do two more Halos for us and you'll be indie again. They did and they went. Now they are indie, working a contract for Activision but Microsoft still owns Halo. They created 343 Industries, which is basically half of Bungue (the ones that wanted to work on Halo).
