I think so of these pilots just dont know how planes fly....like the guy who stalled at 2:43 he kept pulling up the elevator when the plane NATURALLY was trying to get its self out of a stall...yes planes can get them selves out of stalls....for example take a paper airplane throught it at a 45 nose up degree angle...it will fly, stop, go down then back, up, stop and do that till it hits the ground..each stop is a stall...terrible pilots....

I had an Rc Jet, but mine was electric. it was pritty cool, until one of the servo's locked up, it banked left and hit a power line...tor one of the wings off...

if that wasen't bad enough, it spiraled into a tree and broke into 50 pices. i'd like to say that was the end of it...but the Li-Po battery began to smoke, and then their was a small fire...

that was 500$ well spent.

Seems to me that most of these crashes were caused by lack of speed. As a result they lost air over the control surfaces, and giving inputs had little effect.

The guy saving it at 2:27 is pretty amazing, I haven't seen that before. But every bit down the runway looked like it didnt' have the speed.

@Fsxroflcopter Some of those jets take hundreds of hours to build. A lot were built from scratch which can take a couple of years 2 build if you do it part time on the weekends. Most of those planes weren't off the shelf kits. You literally pour your heart and soul into building it and then you are forced to watch helplessly as it flat spins out of control. That was a good chunk of that guys life building,tweaking,and flying that jet.

He had more experience than me with jets, so he flew first. And we had an RC failure (the controller just stopped working all together, and no backup was on).
