Unlike cartoons like Simpsons, Family Guy and King of the Hill, South Park does not have an inverse relationship between the quality of the animation and the quality of the scripts. With a Simpsons episode I can tell in a few seconds by the quality of the drawings/animation whether it's one of the gems from the earlier years, or an unfunny one from the last 10 years (they went to digital animation in about 2000 or so and to be honest it really lacks the character of the old-style animation)

@TheBackOfTheBoat I liked both equally. In recent years it seems cartman is easier to understand... I remember back in the day it seemed like he had less lines due to it being harder to understand him than other characters.

The old voice was hilarious too though, especially where he was imitating the crocodile hunter, that was epic.
