I have a fair amount of respect for Japanese cinema, but this is utter crap. They basically gave pretty teenage girls weapons; some cheesy graphics and sound effects; and dress them like hookers - then try to pass it off as a legitimate chanbara? I've seen Hollywood create garbage, and this is no better.

Whoever said its in the U.S. hopefully has a region 2 or free player. Its only been released in the U.K. outside Japan. So whatever make believe or maybe real copy he or she saw will have subtitles but wont play in the american player...unless of course it was the Hong kong Bootleg

vorteX hasnt been released in the UK. Manga released the original Onechanbara film here in the UK but not the sequel. Tokyo Shock released the original in America too.

it was the TA that got ya going huh...the game's story and dialogue were bad...gameplay was pretty simply and you could cheat using counter stance against bosses......only merit is the fanservice....i the writer of this series is as if its been written by some dumb high school kid with a liking to ecchi and eroero and res ev.

No word but dont count on it. The first film hasnt come out in EU/US yet but the European release of the Wii title advertises the first film as 'Coming Soon To DVD' but that was a couple of months ago with no news. When this film is released in China then that will have English subtitles

The first movie was released before the games ever reached North America though, and it didn't see the amount of publicity this one has in the gaming press. I think there'd be a market for this one.
