@Moroccan4lifeone Most people would probably be faster on a 380. They have about the same peak power as the 500, a better chassis and better suspension. Plust they don't have as big of a hit as the 500, so they are easier to control. A Service Honda 500AF will kill them both though.
I still think the 500 is faster,if you notice the 500 gets infront and then the 380 comes back.I think it is the gearing,if the 500 had taller gearing like a smaller wheel sproket the 380 wouldn't stand a chance.
@haastheresa Im not so sure. 380s are brutal. I owned one for a short time, and i have also owned a WR500. Im pretty sure WR500s had more kick than CR500s. The KTM380 didnt feel any slower than the WR, so id say the KTM380 would be quiker than the CR500

@sk8nsnow14 of course u tune any piece of crap to beat a bigger bore bike that's the whole point. stock for stock the 380 will eat loads of dust.

doesn't matter. all whos riding it, especially if they're afraid of the power. nothing beats the kick, and strength of a cr500.

i got a ktm 360, always wanted to try the 380 or a 500. Btw, someone needs to do a trike build with the 380, that would be demonic!!!!
