Sweetlight Remote 512 DMX IR fun with DJ Mikey Mike WOW

Kinda cool,but I dont see it for the average Dj,Maybe a club owner,But most the dj's I know man the booth.So wireless dmx is a novelty item that once you have it you hardly ever use it.Unless you have it across the room or something,Does it run on batterys?

are you running windows 7 on your laptop, if so, how did you get the "setup" part of the sweetlight software working, it doesnt work on my laptop. cheers adam

here comes a dumb question from someone who is only running 3 pieces of lighting at sound active.....

i can hook a bunch of par cans, daisy chained together across the room that are programmed to slow fade, have the ir eye pointed towards me on the other side of the room, activate the on/off from a regular programmable remote, and not have to worry about wires crossing my dancefloor???
