Celine was a worthy winner but Sweden should of done better. As this is now a classic song in Sweden and it is easy to see way it is a big and great song sung by one Sweden's greats. Go Tommy!

Boring? Tastes differ, I would indeed call the Belgian entry boring. This is a classical tune, old fashioned, yes, but I guess it was the combination of music, words, performer & performance that gave 12 points from Norway, besides neighborship. It's quite beautiful in my ears, a word I wouldn't use for the Turkish entry (though it was quite OK, but you can't compare these two songs).

Yes, perhaps I was too harsh on this one. It has grown on me now - indeed a beautiful song, but Tommy's performance was rather disappointing.

its all about politcs.. norway gave sweden 12 points because we are brother countries, and in the last eurovision song contest we swedeish got 12 points from both norway and denmark and a 10 from iceland, its all about politics...

Tommy actually had a flu and a bad throat during this performance. Listen at 2:00 and you will hear his voice break up. In spite of the flu, he does a great job though, as always.
