  • I think you are awesome dude! Go u! : ) Fuck those people who messed with you.

  • This made me feel like instead of a negitive, turn it into a positive. He said he turned it into a gift. That the best way to do it. Like instead of thinking of a glass half empty, i always think of it as half full. :)

  • I Know What Hell On Earth Feels Like- I'd Like To Talk Sometime- When You Said You "wish you could explain it better' you never can without conversation.

  • My boyfriend actually has autism and I never had a problem with him. He's actually much kinder and smarter than most people. And we have lots in common, even though I've never been diagnosed with autism. I'm a very awkward person in social situations and I learn faster than my classmates, so I might be on the edge of autism.

  • I know this autistic guy who throws tantrums and smashes up things that don't belong to him, he's like a giant baby who uses his autism as a crutch for everything, he's the laziest human being alive. A genuinly bad person with no empathy for others.

Autistics who try to function don't bother me, but those who use it to try and get an easy ride in life piss me off.

  • @ParakoopaPete If he has autism, he isn't using it as a crutch, he hasn't been giving the proper tools to help him learn how to cope in normal society. For some it is almost impossible. it is a very mysterious condition, some people life myself were lucky enough to have and be able to impliment strategies to cope in normal society.

  • @superdadtv Because autistic people can't be assholes.

  • @ParakoopaPete they can be as annoying as people without autism but the motive is something completely different. For example, many autistic children treat people as objects and tools to meet their needs (grabbing your hand and pushing it towards something that is out of reach) using no eye contact or words because they don't communicate the same as most (you would'nt talk to a screwdriver). This is probably very annoying to someone who doesn't understand autism.

  • @superdadtv You seem to think people with autism are incapable of being bad people, that they cannot do anything wrong. This is not the case, being a bad person isn't exclusive to non autistics. You seem to be supporting the idea of some individuals using autism as a crutch and get out of jail free card for everything.

I suggest you google Christian Weston Chandler or Chris chan if you want proof that bad autistics exist.

  • @ParakoopaPete no, actually, many people in jail and criminals are undiagnosed autist. Most states healthcare doesn't cover autism so children of the middle class and poor often go undiagnosed. Hence, the child being labeled bad instead special needs. They don't get the resources they need, they adapt to society the best way they can understand and often become criminals due to their lack of social awareness.

  • @superdadtv I don't see how you can think it's impossible for some autistic people to be bad, there are good and bad people regardless of their medical condition.

If you want to bring upbringing into it by that logic then many murderers aren't bad people because it was their upbringing that led to them being who they are.

  • @ParakoopaPete what is a bad person. For someone to take another person life, take something from someone or any type of crime, a person must be suffering from some illness or adverse upbringing. Normal people don't do the things you speak of. What is right and wrong, what is good or bad, very subjective topic.

  • @superdadtv You were essentially saying I only find this specific autistic person annoying because he has autism and that I do not understand autism, by that logic I wouldn't find him to be annoying if I as you claim didn't understand autism, which I do.

But then by the same logic you shouldn't be annoyed when gangs kill people because it is the culture they have been subjected to that led to them doing this.

  • @superdadtv Claiming that antisocial or otherwise "bad" behaviour is caused by something inherently wrong with the person committing such acts (such as an illness or an adverse upbringing) is ridiculous. You obviously have a very naive outlook on life, and you seem ignorant of the broad range of motivations for crime. The same goes for the question of whether autistics can be blamed for their actions or not.

  • @superdadtv (continued) People wth high functioning autism are just as accountable for their actions as anyone else. It isn't a crippling disease that robs the sufferer of all self control and social ability. But because of the viewpoint you happen to share with many uninformed and ignorant people, people with autism often do not have to face the consequences for their actions, coming to believe that there are no consequences for bad behaviour. This makes many autists into assholes.

  • @Fgsfgswut for some it does rob of self control and social ability and others no. As for myself, all self control had to be rationalised, I had to observe to understand that someone stepping on my toe didn't warrant me dragging them through the street. I still have only 2 modes angry or happy, but I learned to cope better than many uneducated. Whn I wrkd in a prison it was clear many were autistic and everyine must deal with consequences regardless of what they or society beleives.

  • @superdadtv Rationalising self control is something that everybody does. Nobody is born knowing what is and isn't acceptable, it is learned behaviour. Many autistics are allowed by society to transgress social acceptability freely without any consequences, which leads them to become huge assholes. This is because many in society believe that autism is an excuse for bad behaviour.

  • thumbs up if u crid

  • I dare someone to try to bash this video. Fuckin haters

  • you and me both.

  • My friends sister is autistic, she cant read, she has a boyfriend, she has a job, she has a wonderful life, loving family despite having autism.

  • Thank you for sharing that message, it made me think about my life differently, and in a good way :)

  • Thanks for sharing Zack, it really helped my perspective of autism. :)

  • im 19 with autism, still not able to make friends

  • 16 people should be shot hang and burtaily murder by god i suffer form atusim i have the type where your realy smart but i cant delvolp pur esocblity

  • Wow really wow. This video is very good, really.I am suicidal. But i felt good.

  • for fuck sake cut the optimistic, smiley face crap. its worst possible world we live in and you have got worst life that is possible. this relevant shit is just way off the logic and rationalization. if you dont have a strong learning abilities, if you do not constantly improve yourself and create something that is worth something, then it means that your life is shit and you are full of shit cause you try to smile

  • @mobyseed - You can live life two ways, always feeling bad for yourself and your situation, or you can see how fortunate you are, smile, and get on with life because life is a miracle inside of itself and you my friend should cut the emo crap because us people who try to enjoy life can only feel bad for you and your pesimists. thanks for your time.

  • @olsonknight guess what genius, choices are not that restricted and simple. there are literally thousands of great minds who spoke on that same matter and be sure that they have million more proper reasons to define things and implementation than you. optimism doesnt mean "blind hope" for no reason. of course im fully acknowledged the fact of simplicity and ape-like structure of your mind bu nevertheless cant stop myself to try to open a vast world of knowledge to you, fools!!

  • @mobyseed - Well hey, then at least you can say you've tried. Besides, Thats no reason to go troll on a video just because somebody is in a good mood for all you know he is going through hell. not saying he is im just saying you really don't know.

  • @mobyseed that's not true.

  • The tone of your voice struck me as Asperger's when I first heard it... You remind me of myself. I as well am slightly autistic.

  • nice speach or what you said in the video?!

  • Aspergers is also considered another type of autism, although it is slightly more highly functioned. Nevertheless, it has the same traits as someone with autism. I have Aspergers, so you're not alone here.

  • autism is awesome! i have it, my memory is like 1000x better than that of my best friend

  • I still don't get how the way he sees life is different.

  • AM I THE ONLY ONE WHO DIDN'T KNOW HE HAD AUTISM

  • @multisnootylives1 dude...that was just mean.

  • @multisnootylives1 Fail troll is fail.

  • wait wait wait wait wait.....you have autisim?

  • Lol the very end made me laugh so hard,, what i see is a big mess on the wall LOL

  • This video was great, my nephew has autism, he doesnt speak to anybody, and at first we thought it was some sort of anxiety disorder but he got tested, and it scares me sometimes because his mother doesnt seem to think theres anything wrong with him and I hate the idea of him being bullied or segregated because of his autism because not that many people where I live understand it, they just accept it and not really do anything to help, but after watching this I can see a little hope :) x

  • this video was so inspiring. and i feel like ive made a happy life for myself, living with type 1 diabetes really sucks balls. but 'dont worry be happy now!" wwoooohooowowowohooo c: this video is awesome and should have millions of views. peace ZACH!!

  • This video really touched my heart thank you, I have a cousin who has autism

  • many autistic people and people with autism spectrem disorders are different on youtube because it is easier and you aren't constaintly talking to people, that is how it is for me

  • Wow Zack. That was really good! My life sux... I haven't even told my best friend some things... But I would say my life was somewhat of a crappy Wal-Green's shaving cream... Yet I still manage to make happiness out of it... No one even knows how I do it... Shit, sometimes I DON'T even know! ;) Thanks!

  • 15 people are jelly of autistic people

  • this realy helpt me thanks Zack

  • Zack what changed to give you the ability to chose happy face!! what was it?

  • These really spoke to me. I think I'm finally starting to see life like this and get myself sorted :)

  • autistic people rock!!!

  • You sound either drunk, or british trying to do an american accent.

  • @19max15 hehe drunk

  • You didn´t look like autistic person. You really must worked on you. This is really cool video :)

  • Zack this really spoke to me. I am marrying a girl the love of my life. She has an autistic brother..one of the smartest Kids Ive ever known and one of the nicest kids. We are gonna be taking guardianship. Friends Family all ask how I can do it. How "We" can handle him. simple I love her I love him. they are 2 of the most amazing People that I know. Anyway..this video really helped me out.

  • dude....that was actually deep, man.

Not gonna lie,I almost let out a sob...

  • zack bro why dont you become a teacher? ive learned more from you than I have learned from ymteachers in the last 10 years out together.

  • I didn't know you had autism. I never would've guessed..

  • does he really have autism??

  • I hear you when u say ur first 12 years of ur life same here i was bullied all the time at school for 1 whole year i got in a fight every week and how i stayd there was teachers didint do shit so im 13 now and im good eventhough i dont have autisim they picked on me because im white rasis spooks no offense to all u other blacks except those shitfaces who bullied me

  • @xXxCHARG3RxXx I have ADD and use to help you be funnier like I do and it could help you make friends with other people that have it

  • i dont have autism but i do have asbergers and adhd and because of this i didn't even know how to tie my shoes until i was 9 and when i was 8 i was still misspelling my name wich is only 5 letters long. i got allot of shit about this in school and i just about gave up in 6th grade but in 8th grade i started thinking differently and i actually brought my math grade up from a 64 to a 86 in just a few weeks and graduated even thou my teacher said i was going to fail

  • My brother has Autism, Autistic's are amazing :) They will always succeed in one paticular thing, you are thriving in being hilarious :) I respect you ~

  • OutBackZack I have Autism aswell. To a degree similar to yours. And this made me cry. Thank you. When I was 11 I got my first IQ test. I got 167 at 11. At 14 I got my second. It rose to 182. I realized from this video, that I can make my happiness no matter how different I am.

  • Amen brudder (I have autism, too)!

  • "what i see right now.. is a big fucking mess on my wall" lol

  • dude, your awesome

  • I respect you the most of the youtubers because you really know what life is.

  • I understand you, I have asperges syndrome. But now I don't feel like I have it anymore, really or at least I learned how to live with it like my teacher of humanities says. My life was also a hell until my parents putted me on this boarding school, it really helped me understanding people better because you're in contact with people 24/7. I have the exact thing how I think about life as you, it kinda freaked me out on a good way. I started thinking like this like for 8 months.

  • I never thought his guy could be so emotional, mainly because of his obz videos and screaming (lol) but damn, this ... i never even thought he even had autism. I thought i would never see this side of him. 100/10 <--- not a mistake, for expressing your feelings. :D

  • This is pretty inspirational. You are obviously living out what you've said in this video because I doubt a lot of your viewers could even guess you have Autism. This seems cheesy, but there's a lot of truth to what Mewtwo says at the end of the first Pokemon movie. :P

"It's not the circumstances into which we are born, but what we do with the gift of life, that determines who we truly are."

  • Awesome video, man. I feel the same about my ADD. It's a gift, not a disability.

  • Comment removed

  • @Synith I'm sorry to ask, but 'a gift'? Can you please explain to me one single advantage of having ADD which would merit it being 'a gift'.

  • .......I will never shave the same way again

  • Beautifully put!!! I love ya dude ha:)

  • dude i also have autism and i dont really care much but i also dont feel diffirent then others so you could say i have a light form or maybe very light form of autism . i think it will affect me for some things but most things are as normal to me as to anyone . and yes i have met and also lived with kids with autism , some even had heavy forms of autism and the people that guide those kids ( like i used to be ) they were ofcourse specialized in it .

  • @spawngregory69 for those people who have seen a kid or person with autism , dont think that all of us are like that and not every person has the same problems they suffer or may not suffer because they are autistic .

  • im autistic, :3

  • Love this video and your philosophy on life. :) *smiley face made of foam*

  • Comment removed

  • oh my fucking god you remind me of myself

  • thumbs up if you have autism

  • If I didn't see this video, I wouldn't have known you had autism, to be honest.

But thanks for sharing, really. I have an older brother with autism where it affects on his speak and how he lives day to day basis. It's hard since family life was kind of rough and plus people generally would either look at him without undestanding why he's the way he is & how people like this are underestimated for what they can't or can do often.

Love the ending of your video.xD Thanks for this.<3

  • A friend of mine has PDD NOS (its a form of autism). I can see where he has some interaction difficulties, but he comes across as a bit quirky. Just because someone is autistic in any form or to any extent doent mean that you cant do for yourself. yes you may need a little more help, a little more guidance, and even a bit more explanation. in the end people who are autistic are not helpless just quirky.

  • Reminds me of my ADD. Both a blessing and a curse.

  • great video ...Really

  • Love this video!

My brother has autism and loads of people make fun of him at school, I get really pissed when I see people shouting at him,(then they think I'm like him and shout at me too) so I just wanna show this to all those assholes.

  • I LOVE YOU!

  • Zack, I ran across your videos and let me tell you, you have a 23 year old clone living in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. My brother has Aspergers as well but that's not all. His face, his blonde "Jesus like" mane, his facial hair, his interests, and his sense of humor are IDENTICAL to yours. When I say identical, I mean it's scary how close of a resemblance you two have to each other. I need to make a video of him or something to show you. It's crazy!

  • Wish we Talked more! Miss it. <3

  • You inspired me in this video. Thank you:) Annnd you sound like a hotter version of Jack Sparrow/Johnny Depp from Pirates of the Caribbean:).

  • @TheCashMember people like you piss me off. This is a video about how he overcame something that people think is crippling and he gave a great explaination on how life can be good with any situation. And what are you worried about, making money online. If you wanted to worry about money send him a pm not a comment on a video like this faggot

  • awwee :') well said zack, well said.

    I didn't know u was autistic.

  • DUDE, the second you said autism for the second time, my weather desktop thingy made a thunder sound...too perfect not to mention

  • love the shaving cream analogy. :) u ultimatly rock ass. Untill you mentioned that you had autism, I really DID NOT know. Rock on, OutBackZach.

  • Haha! I was just thinking that I'd make a smiley face with that shaving cream and that's exactly what you did. Cool.

  • Comment removed

  • cool

  • I have aspergers (Type of autism) and because I don't talk much, alot of people think I'm retarted. :c

  • @MattTheManly I get what you say, last week I got a "Poor thing... she doesn´t seem to understand what we are saying" -_-

  • @TheBoronMaster Some people are just ignorent.

  • I went through the same thing with the social problems but I do not have autism. I was socially awkward not because of autism or any kind of mental condition but from how I was raised. My parents did a shitty job raising me and never really taught me how to live or comunicate with others properly. I was made fun of alot and was outcasted and labeled a creeper because I was different. Its hard to live with this frustration and it takes alot out of me to not kill the people that caused me pain.

  • dude your awesome

  • I had no idea that you even had autism :O It's not even noticeable.

  • my nephew has autism, and i had to kick a 12 yr old's ass for making fun of him . . .

my nephew is an artist and he is very young, he is better at art than i am

  • i have autism, adhd 2 types of seizure

  • I have Attention Deficit Disorder. And I can relate to being bullied. I get teased because people think I'm lesbian, people hate me, and I don't know WHY.

I get bad grades and I think my mother hates me for it. I love you. Just so you know.

    :D

  • you dont look like you're autistic.

btw, i'm really sorry you were bullied.

    i know how it feels

  • Lol. Compares shaving cream to life. Obz never change

  • i dont have autism mate but i have been bullied and i do have adhd and i cant communicate very well still and im 17 but ily zack and dw i see it has been hell for u but ur creativeness has brought u to a good life

  • awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww :'(

  • wow!! i loveddd this videoooo!!!!

  • i really agree with your message, you are really smart, thats what makes you great, plus you make life something happy, this message was really good zack.

  • I had a learning disability. It's possible to overcome such hurdle. I overcome. You overcome. Anyone can jump their hurdle.

    -Calvin

  • I like you, Zach. I think you make people realize autistics can be cool.

I know some people that use their autism to their advantage. They'll act like a total jerk (people that actually know a lot better than what they want you to think) then when you get all mad their like "autism" (like someone being tipsy and fucking someone and saying "oh, i was drunk")

But, I know others that are that are about as crazy awesome as you. Like, you cant tell if their autistic, or just that fucking awesome.

  • i reallt agree with your message alot, u make with life what you want

  • dude up till you 12 years sounds like i was treated on my frist 12 years

  • I knew a kid that was artistic, he was a cool kid, and pretty smart and very very energetic!

  • I love this video of you ;) i don't have autism but i should think like you... i would smile more tks

  • ty ty ty sooo much zack ty

  • Greetings from the autist community in the Netherlands.

Being on the exact opposite of the earth, it makes me INSANE that not only we both have autism (asperger for my bye the way) but we both are funny, smart, pretty much insane, kinda look like Jesus, and have awesome hair.

If you ever want to come to the Netherlands, let me know...

If il ever come to Australia, il let you know.

    Good bye,

    J. v. Essen

  • I've got Aspergers Syndrome, which is "on the outer level of the autism spectrum," i don't understand what that means, but still, it's what i've got.

  • dude, this video made me cry...i'm really happy you are ok even though i don't know you at all! also, you are artistic! i saw your drawings on deviantart.

  • this is a personal question for Zach: hey man, where u diagnosed with mild or severe Autism? for me i completely understand u man because i too am Autistic with something called Asperger's Syndrome accompanying it so dont worry i got your message loud and clear :)

  • @DTfan43 from some of OBZ's comments, i think he was diagnosed with severe.

  • what..? zacs autistic? I didn't know zac was. I know this guy who is autistic and he's in year 7 in my school and he punched this guy and got suspended for a week, he acts normal and all but he gets really angry really quickly

  • best tuype speach thigny i ever heard

  • @kingsgirl0616 How could a six year old be diagnosed with autism? Dont you think that the shrink may be wrong?

  • @wwwtotalitaerde you can be diagnosed at any age. my dad was diagnosed with a mild case of aspergers when he was 36

  • @suki3275 Of course a shrink can diagnose you with all sorts "illnesses". But what do you think? Is there any sign that your dad really has Aspergers?

By the way, the name Asperger for a psychiatric condition allways sounds strange for me. Near Stuttgart/Germany there is a hill named Hohenasperg. This was the political prison of Württemberg during centuries. Today its used as a prison hospital.....

  • @wwwtotalitaerde he wasnt diagnoses by a shrink, he was diagnosed by a doctor. yeah there are, especially because of his anxiety. i do not think he has a severe case though. woah, that is creepy o.o but i hear the name Asperger actually came from somebodys last name, either somebody who had it or somebody who discovered it.

  • @suki3275 I just found a German self test for Aspergers. One question was wether you prefere to go to the library instead to a party. And whether you can remember phone numbers or peoples birthdays. I only hope that your dad is not diagnosed Aspergers because he likes to read books. And sometimes there are reasons for anxiety.

Asperger is the name of the man first describing it. The name Asperger shows that he,or his ancestors lived in Asperg, the town with the political prison near Stuttgart.

  • @wwwtotalitaerde HAHAHA i wouldnt trust any kind of diagnosis found on the internet. no, my dad was diagnosed by a real doctor at a doctors office who had a degree in the medical field. my brother has autism as well so i know what im talking about. you dont have to be a kid to be diagnosed with aspergers just like you dont have to be a kid to be diagnosed with ADD or dyslexia. its always been there, you just didnt know it.

  • @suki3275 Ive seen people being labeled with all sort of psychiatric conditions. Some of them did not show any reasonable difference, others were being tortured and brainwashed by the German BND which is the renamed 3rd Reich GESTAPO. But ive never seen one real psychiatric illness.

  • wait wait u have autism?

  • @lilrockstarbaby234 Negative. He is living in the middle of nowhere. There arent much contacts to other people but I wont consider this an illness or autism. Hes just different. Lets call this the Robinson Crusoe syndrom.

For the reality in Germany see my channel and homepage.

  • i see the world similar, for me the number 5 has always been green. humans can be divided into two categorys cats and dogs. i have been told that im good with metaphors .and i know how it is not to be able to learn something you have to. but if i dotn have to learn it i can .. as a small kid i think i was 3 my parents where in a large amator theatre group and i knew all lines off by hard. sometimes this sucks but hey noone can be as happy as me sitting and just watching the clouds go by.:)

  • Got emotional...damn. O.O'

  • wow, you seriously just gave me a LOT to think about and i tottaly agree with what you said. stick with what you have and make life the best you can :)

  • My little sister has it, and it's interesting to see adults comping with it. Thanks :)

  • oh my god i'am more in love you now more than ever.

  • You're my happiness OBZ ! stay metal !

  • This....... is........ Touching.......... :)

  • @kingsgirl0616 true

  • i really like this video.... he is so real

  • wait what?! you have autism?!

  • I have watched almost all your vids on you're main channel, and I didn't know you're autistic! You have awesome vids and a great sense of humour! I really look up to people who make something out of whatever "shitsy" situation they have. You rock Zack!

  • wow this was good. he didnt go "insane"

  • wait is he for real?

  • That's really inspiring.

  • it dsent matter that ur autistic zack ur still a top bloke and fuck ay who cares im adhd and have 70 % brain function i dont see my adhd as a disability cos i love my hyperactivity and the way im energetic i was bullied but now im great i use my over activeness for good now

  • @kingsgirl0616 yeah i volunteer and work with autistic children- some much more severe than others. Its really interesting, and yes, autistic children are very intelligent, the most common problem I see is communication. If you can get an autistic child to break through their communication turtle shell of sorts, than their golden. It's really cool to see an autistic child learn and open up over time. Best of luck to your brother, hes a strong kid

  • This is simply amazing

I have ADD as well as Autism or Asperger (the Doctors cant really tell which one), and, your childhood sounds alot like mine. I couldnt understand the first twelve years of my life, I couldnt make friends and got bullied by everyone. It was hell. Just like you described it.

But only from 2 years ago did I first start to see the Bottle Half Full rather than Empty. Now I always see the positive things even in the negatives.

Thank you for posting this. I salute you.

  • Great video, I really like you Zack, you're a honset guy, just like people should be :)

BTW, I also got autism, but I also got AD/HD and Asperger syndrom
