I love sports personaly, but in all honesty socer (aka football, I'm American if it explains anything) bores me. I can't see why it excites people. Now American football, that is a sport I can get excited about! Lets remember though, I am an American, and I promise you, socer/football will never be imbraced here.
Refering to the 51st state video, this would bring up more hell then anything else, this is what truly impeads the UK being the 51st state... ok, I think a few things supereed it.
incorrect sir. never seen a broken seat. go to a game to see for yourself. having no obvious interest in, or relative knowledge of football i don't think your opinions can be justified. a lot of statements based on fictional statistics and one sided opinions. stick to what you know my friend
i agree too, the amount of cash that goes into promoting matches is just astronomical, but these football stadiums are the colosseums of our age don't you think? keeping the punters happy and making lots of money. saying that i do enjoy football i just don't lose the plot when someone scores. did you know the open university does a course about the effects of spectator sports on societies. i think it would be quite interesting. people have strange priorities for sure

Interesting comments & I don't disagree too wildly. However could you expand on the "would bring up more hell then anything else".
Thanks

I completely agree. This is why I don't follow football- people get so childish and dramatic over it.
