I just love the old westerns and like Hendrikdevuile said, they are rare on youtube. I love the old ones especially. That's when they knew how to make the good ones. Although I must disagree about the John Wayne statement. He will always be the king of westerns. GOT to love that man! ;-)

An apparently excellent western I wasn't even aware of. Good westerns and even bad ones are pretty rare on YouTube.This one attempts to show the frontier as it really must have been, - much more than just gun duels, Holden eventually starred in The Wild Bunch, Arthur was the good wife in Shane and Buchanan the drunken judge in Ride the High Country. Many others are familiar faces and excellent actors. All very promisng so far, making much of John Wayne's work look comparatively amateurish.
