@NealHXC The verse riff is a Cmajor sweep. its not picked out with slides like you are doing it in the video. thats what i remember off hand without watching the video again.

You're playing the right notes, but in the wrong octaves alot. wrong parts of the neck shit like that. for example, the "ugly" leading into the first breakdown isnt played on the F string on the 9th fret. its played on the A string on the 5th fret while strumming the D string at the same time to create that octave. then you slide from the 5th fret to the 6th fret on the A string while continuing to strum the D string to create that ugly tension. gooday.

It makes it a little easier to keep that part under control, it may not work for you, im just trying to help
