tabs would be VERY tricky to play with a pick. im not saying its impossible but your have to move your hand way to much. he did it cuz its easier to play it like that. plus some people jst like using their fingers. (dnt ask me why cuz its a pain for me but its different for every person..)
perhaps you should define "incorrect", since there isn't a guitar part for this song and I created this one myself, it would difficult for it to be "incorrect". I didn't try to transpose a note-for-note copy of the piano part (that would be pretty freakin tricky to play). So before you call my stuff "completely incorrect", maybe you should think about it, realize the song is performed on piano with no guitar, and then keep your mouth shut.
Yes, during the strumming the 6th string is muted. Also, I throw my pinky onto the 3rd fret on the 1st string sometimes for a high note to switch things up.
