@speedfreakpsycho I put all the Anoles in containers and then I wipe it down with a white vinger and water sultion. Place the plants in scolding hot water and let them soak. That's about it.
@Game117Fanatic You're going to have to look around. Check for the best prices. Some times you can find good deals. Also, check Craigslist for a used one. You can get some great deals on there.
@Game117Fanatic The smallest size tank a juvenile or adult can be housed in is a 40 gallon breeder tank. A pair should be kept in a minimum 75 gallon tank. Tank size can also vary according to the size of your dragons. A 24 inch male will need more space then an 18 inch male. The larger space you can give your bearded dragons the happier they will be.
@Cherokeekid304 just to get this right the lizards can go from tank to tank using the ropes if so that is so epic. and can crested geckos and brown anole go in the same tank?
@bronowithlizards yes, they do go from tank to tank using the ropes and no Cresties and Anoles do not go together. Thanks for the great comment! -Dustin
Oh my gosh! That is amazing! I'm totally fascinated and in awe of the intricacy in your design and craftmanship! I sat through the entire video open mouthed! Very good.
Those tanks are amazing. It's really nice to see someone really interested in animals. I enjoyed the video and I'm very pleased with the tanks you make. They look spacious and comfortable. I think your critters are very fortunate to have an owner like you. If only all pets had this kind of home; there would be no more animal abuse.
@zasabiibasaz It's spelled "damn" and they're enclosures not drawers. The enclosures have magnets inlayed in them. So, you could use most types off metal to pull them out. They look much better without handles. Trust me.
I have 3 juvenile anoles in a 22 long right now. Will I need to separate them later in life if I have multiple boys? Also will I need to make my enclosure larger?
Hi, I have a Toyko gecko, where I live it gets really cold in the winter. Do you think its a good idea to place my heat light inside my tank. whats a good way to keep the heat in.
@MrMexico709 I woldn't suggest putting one inside unless you can build a cage around the light to where he can't get close enough to where he can burn him self. You can't just put it above the tank?
@reptilecreation Okay, when you put it that way. Now what he said could make sense. I have never heard someone refer to their electric bill to a hydro bill. Learn something new every day. Thanks RC, -Dustin
@Cherokeekid304 I live in British columbia and my dad works at a camp that generates hydro electric power for an aluminum smelter, it makes sense that you didnt know that term because most of the states uses power generated from burning coal. Anyhow power source aside you have built yourself some incredible terrariums, they kick ass and your reptiles must be happy. Have a good one.
@4tellen You think we all live in florida? There are no anoles in the wild here in CA. It is more about the tank than the lizards anyway. They were cheap and the right size to keep in the enclosure. And none of my Anoles are gay and if they were I would be okay with that cause I live in CA. LOL. And why do you make sure to point out the fact you're a stoner?
@Cherokeekid304 man that tank setup is cool as hell i currently have 8 house gekos and a green tree frog u have inspired me to build a tank that is way cool man good work on it
@graphikanime It's just because your young that I jumped to the conclusion that you didn't know what you where getting yourself into. It looks like I am totally wrong about that. There is one other thing. Does your mom or dad love the idea of taking care of it because they maybe taking care of it if you head off to college or join the military. Not sure what you future plans are but Iguanas can live up to 15 to 20 years. Just giving you things to think about.
@graphikanime I don't mind you getting one as long as you know what you are getting your self in too. Get all the care info and build him/her a gaint enclosure. You keep watching my vids and you will learn some tricks on how to build an awesome enclosure..
By, the way Iguanas love water to. You should have the enclosure big enough to have a kiddy pool or a large tube about that size. Drinking and swimming are vital for proper hydration and for keeping those kidneys at peak function.
@graphikanime You should rethink your decision on buying an iguana. Did you know they grow to be 5 to 6 feet long? You will need a huge enclosure when it becomes an adult. Maybe start with something that won't out grow your room.
The Crickets are in the garage now. They can get a bit loud.
genius! This is amazing. I am trying to convert a 30 gallon fish tank to be an upright terrarium with glass doors in front. Trying to find videos but having a hard time. I really like what you've done here. You should build these for people and open a business.
@animalcollector102 The Brown Anole (Anolis sagrei) is a lizard native to Cuba and the Bahamas. It has been widely introduced elsewhere, and is now found in Florida and as far north as southern Georgia, Texas, Taiwan, Hawaii, Southern California, and other Caribbean islands. I have 7 in the enclosure you see here.
Holy crap that's crazy awesome! You seriously need to make a video about how you constructed that. Tell me, how do you keep the crickets from climbing into those tubes?
I have a question about what you used to paint the inside of your cages with. I am building a screen cage for a Crested Gecko and I'm and trying to figure out what would be best to paint the wood with so it is water resistant but not toxic to the animal.
