P.S. 16 or 18 years ago I was THE Kenaniah (AOL) online and then one day I met another...was like 1995? it was a girl...that was hot then, she had tattoos and I was a teen. regardless. The song has penetrated society because face it, looking for a name in the bible for your baby? I have two of the most recognized. I will say no further.

My wife and I named our daughter Kenaniah due to this song. We met when we were both D.J's at a Christian radio station when the song came out.

I think THIS was the song that changed me from "Petra? Meh", to "daaaaang, they upped their game and are pretty rockin!". VERY pleasant surprise, and the rest as they say is history.

That they'd sing about this very obscure biblical character, drawing metaphor to song and battle, is verrrrrrry cool.

I named my son after the Bible persona, and this song. He is seven and loves the Lord. In school he had a sentence to write that started, "I am special because . . ." He wrote, "I am special because my name comes from the Bible."

I did some looking up in the bible and my personality and the one in the bible are about the same, we both believed in God, both of us wanted to help save the sinners, and both of are firmly rooted in what we believe.
