  • Is a rc groups accout free??? Plz respond

  • How did u know where it was

  • Is this a good beginner plane? I am coming from rc trucks. Btw how are you getting that much radio range?

  • Nice camera position and steady flight

  • You have very nice videos and i like your slow stick, look on my channel, there i have got some videos in the german language and a very nice rc remix video from my country =)

  • look how tightly packed the houses are... its terrible

demand minimum land sizes, say no to high density housing estates...

you may as well be living in an apartment

  • thats really cool i cant seem to get mine over 200 ft.

any got a suggestion on how to mount a camera i want to try this

  • Thanks much for the introduction to the plane and to the music.

  • Really cool

  • Comment removed

  • @artistiko please be joking, and not being a retard

  • About the camera, was it standard or did you take any of the casing off to make it lighter? Cause even though these little canons are small I imagine they would be very heavy for a little RC plane like that.

  • ja das isch aber e tolli sach, gueti ufname echt schön:)

  • what camera did you use? i cant find any good ones out there if you could please send me the brand/ model of the camera?

  • hey bud, you gave me a great idea, i did the same thing with mine, i just put a regular digital cam. I got one as small as i could and the way i put it on the plane, it created a lot of vibration since i put on the landing gear. So my flight wasnt as smooth as yours, but i loved it..

just tell what camera you got so i can get on too.

    thanks..

    maurydez

  • @maurydez I have a keychain camera that looks like a car alarm transmitter. It cost like $10 on ebay. Very light, and surprisingly good colors and framerate. Just make sure you get a regular not the widescreen stuff, that's digitally converted from 640x480 ruining the picture.

  • Flys great for a small plane - nice video

  • I got one of that and i will test fly tomorrow, What kind of camera is that?

I want to put cam on it , can you suggest what you put in?

    thanks

  • Cliff Side waaaw u иeed oиe of the hole valley that would b a good oиe...

  • this iz fake

  • is it waterproof?

  • What camera system did you use for this plane...great job!

  • how the heck did you get it that high!? thats amazing.

  • @skuller496 Idid the same thing except my cam wasnt appropiate for that, but he was between 100 to 200 feet up.

Check mine wth small digital kodak i put on the landing gears..

  • @maurydez at 1:15 he was up way more than 100-200ft. Closer to 1000.

  • @ncole116

    O.o

  • What are the specs, stock or what? I can't believe this light plane can carry that heavy camera?

  • is this done with green screen????? cause the wheels doesnt realy shake :-\

  • Is this camera one of those types weighing only 9grams? Btw, the flight looks really smooth and picture quality great!

  • does this plane come rtf?

  • California looks so beautiful i wish i could live there

  • @Dredgion HAHA after a week, you'll get bored and irritated at how expensive everything is lol

  • this is a awsome vid and do you know what the altitude was on the flight ?

  • @ArrowSmith95

high haha i dono my remote has a top range of 7000 ft.

  • @jjswimmer2014 holy balls thats alot do you have a live fead camra on it or something

  • ;-))

  • ....that is epic very very epic and the music makes it even more epic!!!!!!

  • soo cooooooooooool !!!

  • u should have flown her straight down

  • Thats a good cam, no lines on the prop. Yeh how come i too got a few hundred dollars of craft and i wana fly one of these?

  • how did you get that full sized cam up with that airplane...?

  • @juicysquidlad by putting the camera on the plane...

IDIOT #1: "how did you put that lettuce on that sandwich??"

NON-IDIOT" "i just picked it up and put it on the sandwich"

    IDIOT #1: "that makes sense"

  • This was one of the videos responsible for getting me into RC. It fooled me to believe I could get a plane and fly for $30. When I realized that was not exactly like that, it was too late and I was hooked... :-)

Now I have spemt over $5000 on a few dozen planes and cameras, but the Slow Stick is still one of my favorites. Thanks for the video. Cheers,

  • @LFLoTiTo, once you have a few planes, I guess you can always take the electronics out of a crashed plane that you don't care for and build a new Slow Stick for $25. :) That's what I did. I am a beginner, and I had a frustrating beginning with a Slow Stick that was so out of balance it was almost impossible to fly it.

  • @LFLoTiTo Thats whats its all about.

    Its an awesome hobby.

  • dang man how was you able to see that plane that high. very good job

  • Cool video. I tried to fly a Slow Stick with a FlyCam ( Slow V) but only just had enough power to make a few flights. I have it strapped to a Trojan Park Zone now. The vids are on Youtube.. Not as good as your Slo Stick !!

  • really nice video

  • i love stuf like that!!!

  • wow did u get it so far?

  • im getting one :)

  • This is google earth just way cooler

10/10 i tried this once with my 200$ rc plane that can go 35mph and trash it when the cam broke free

  • was the plane carrying it using the standard motor?

  • dude that park where u r at in the begginign i live near there

  • 30# Thats Cheap. And it looks like a great plane. Where did u get it . I NEED one

  • It's just the body that is 30$ not the entire thing. That entire thing was about $200 after it is all built and ready to go. Because you will still need a motor, servos, radio stuff, batteries and charger. not to mention the camera which is like another 50$ for a cheap one.

  • so COOL

  • that is so coo ljust breath taking

  • WOW did you take the camera out of its housing? How did you get that much weight up on one of those?

  • the slow stick has a huge wing area and huge wing span (about 48") so it can hold alot of weight.

  • Nice flight!

  • That`s an amazing video! I really enjoyed it. : )

  • i got the plane kit iwith nothing only free motor and everything else and oh sit and know i has a h it freaking huge

  • learn to spell

  • How much does the camera wiegh? Please write back.

  • very nice.. 5 stars for sure.. loved the way the wheels rolled a little while it was in the air...wish i had a in flight video of mine...will now for sure...here is a video of me playing around with my red baron..again good job!!

  • Awesome video. I didn't know you could take an RC plane that high.

  • My nitro plane can go much further! :D

  • ok dumb guy its 30 $ for yours is about 500 so just comment nicly it inspired me to get one

  • One of the cooest videos I've seen. Nothing fancy and no sudden moves. Just GREAT. What camera was used?

  • how freaking high was that thing...couldnt have been flying from the ground you wouldnt be able to see it. i bet he was flying it from video to get it that high

  • i love how epicly tall that playground is, i hurts to fall off XD

  • wow...i want to live in that place!!! so calm and peacefull..

  • hahahaha, if only, theres so many ass holes here

  • Thats a really nice area, I dont like the colours for the plane though.

  • if you look carefull at .22 seconds it looks like they tried to make a smily face

  • some1 should do a fly over d land with a flycam 1

  • thats an awsome park

  • this is awesome

  • This vid looks like an FPV video where the pilot is flying while watching the image from the camera that's being transmitted back down to the ground, But i think a slow stick would be too small and light to support such a tx, camera etc??

Surely it was being flown too high to be controlled from the ground with the naked eye?

  • You're probably right, but seeing the planes view when flying is REALLY fun believe it or not. Put the goggles on, turn the cam on, and flyyy =)

  • very nice mate :) i have been flying my stick today. even after flying other fast and expensive aircraft i still come back to the stick for a nice relaxing flight :)

thanks for not putting stupid mega death loud rock music over the top :)

5 * vote from me thanks

  • @bigbollocks69 I'll second that!

  • @bigbollocks69 fuck you man, megadeath rock...

and did you know the lead singer from megadeath owns and flys RC helicopters which isnt so different

  • magnifique résultat !!!

  • cool

  • at :23 did you see the crop circles

  • haha those are tire traks silly

  • How were you able to see the plane so high?

  • I'm shure that isn't the first time anyone asks you, so WHAT KIND OF CAMERA DID YOU USE TO TAKE THAT VIDEO??

  • 30? wtf// just for the fuselage how abouth the other $300 to be spent buying the serbos the r/controler and all the other crap

cmon dont tell lies //is better if you say not bad for a 375 dlls plane /please be onest with people i recomend //the slow b// from hobbie stores near you it cost $99 dlls plus taxes //no lies

  • lol learn to spell :P

  • dude you are over exaggerating and a idiot. Y dont you actually check the price before you sprout crap from ur mouth. Id say you could fly this plane for around 100.

    30 for the kit

    25 for servos

    30 brushless with esc

    20 for radio.

  • Instead of putting this guy down for this great video, just comment on the quality of the video and the great music. He could have bought the plane used. He didn't say the plane and the camera was $30. I just stared flying two weeks ago and a friend gave me the same plane as a beginner plane. That's FREE for you guys that can't figure things out before spouting off!As far as how high he is flying, the wide angle lens on these cameras make you look a lot further away than you actually are.

  • yeah those really wide lenses are nice on rc planes that way you dont have go to high to see alot. how far does your plane go before it loses signal from the transmitter?

  • It's not fake, look at other people doing the same thing with this type of RC plane. So frikken COOL that I want to get one and make some arial video.

  • ur seriusly retarded -.-

  • sorry excuse the last comment. my brother has gotten a hold of this account and posted b/s like he did above. nice vid

  • uhh ok lol tell him that the slow stick plane is very cheap..

  • how did you get the video camra on it

  • great videoo... where can i buy these kind of planes... sum1 reply plzz :)

  • Great video!

  • Now that's how you mount a camera to these things! Great job.

  • I must you that the flight video and the music haunted me :) it was soooo relaxing. Thank you very much. 5 stars.

P.D.: If you read this, can you e-mail me with some guides/websites about this kind of airplanes and how to film your flight? Thank you very much

  • Really good!

  • can you see the plane clearly at that height????

  • depends on your eyesight

i would need my glasses but i use bigger planes than this

  • ˙sǝʇıɹoʌɐɟ ʎɯ ɟo ǝuo

  • that is asome damm

  • Really nice video-Good job!

  • Wow

  • easy brushless motor/

  • whats the diferance between a normal electric moter and a brushless one

  • all right. umm all the pros correct me if im wrong. So in a regular motor or brushed motor, you have brush that rub on the commutator to make it work but that usually produces a lot of heat and makes it inefficient. On a brushless, the brush is done away which makes that motor way more efficient and powerful. Another difference is brushed motor has 2 wires while brushless has 3. You'll also need a special esc bec or watever the hell speed control to make that brushless motor work.

  • ok thanks for that it helped

  • that makes you wanna put on a live camera feed and say "screw-you" to flight simulators

  • That makes you wanna put on a live camera dfeed and say screw you to flight simulators

  • what motor do you have i cant get mine up that high!

  • What is your setup on the Slow Stick??

  • Awsome O_O *************************

  • wow thats high you must must have really great weather there seems to be very little wind. I going through a learning process with my SS its sort of a touchy plane really. You have to build it just right or it flies like crap.

  • that was awesome

  • I'm actually building that exact plane. Its so awesome!

  • That's awesome, I had no idea a plane that small could go that high...it's neat to see my city from a different viewpoint.. Thanks! = ]

  • Nice video!

  • Nice music, is it Icelandic?

  • Nice!

I have a slow stick also; see my video of my home area and 2 lakes in N Cal: edodfaao

  • did you use wireless to fly it or did you just look at it, it seemed kind of high

  • Hello buddy! Can u please tell me what camera did u Use on this video??

    where did u get it?

    Great view

  • the camera is a Canon SD200.

  • Awesome i know that place That is soo cool i wonder if the cops would get mad if they saw you filming it with a plane? if not I'm ready to do taht too

  • Nice view.

  • i live in santa maria

  • How is it to live in santa maria?

  • out of curiosity, how did the landing go?

  • Wonderful video :-) the music is simply perfect. I am look to get one of these slow sticks :-)

  • absolutely fantastic! I've been thinking about getting into rc flying to do aerial photography since I already take photo's as a hobby. Great stuff!

  • You have to modify the slow stick to put a camera support on. If you don't replace the stock rods, you're wings will break off from the weight, it's just foam remember.

  • Now this is classy AP footage. Nicely done.

  • some camera u can find at radio shack look for on website

    under secuirty camera

  • Whoa, nice.

How do you keep control of your flights when it's that high and stuff? I mean, isn't it hard to see where you are?

  • Nice steady flight, man I wish mine flew like that.

  • What type of camera u used?

  • Its a Canon SD200. Its in the discription of the video on the right.

  • just a little down more with the mini cam , the air ship im making is only $200 or less and it has night vision, my videos are coming soon.....

  • Nice. You fly very high in this video.

  • Beautiful video, beautiful music. Well done!

  • Agreed :)

  • wads the name of this piece of music? by whom?

  • Yep, I want to know too. I'd guess it's Philip Glass?

  • its "Síðasti bærinn" by Kjartan Sveinsson. god you guys read the discription of the video!

  • there are signs in the field (00:22) ^^ nice vid

  • thats so stupid

  • whY? it's cool!

  • very nice video

  • sad music.

  • my friend has one, cost him $250 to build, not counting the other $30 he spent replacing parts from wrecks, props break very easy. He got foam tires for his and made landing nicer. It flies for about 30 minutes, and charges from a car battery. If you avoid ruining the electronics in crashes it's not to expensive to run. But not beginner, get a $30 Air hogs Aero Ace first, good beginner plane.

  • um, no?

this is prolly your best bet for a cheap beginner plane, you just shouldn't fly it in winds over 5mph your first few outings

  • So I fly 2 channel planes, so should I buy a slow stick to transition over to a 3 or 4 channel plane, I dont know if its 3 or 4 channel.

  • Slow Stick is 3 channels. I personally learned on a .46 sized nitro 4-ch plane at my club. If you're looking to go with a 4 channel plane later, you may or may not want a transmitter with elevon mixing so you can fly delta wings (zagi etc). The Slow Stick is a great place to start, just find someone who knows how to fly well and get you up and running. Good luck!

  • yea so the slow stick has no elerons? But ok yea thanks for getting back to my question, and I will probably go with a slow stick!

  • yeah, 3 channels are throttle, rudder, and elevator (no ailerons). Very easy to fly and "put where you want it". Make sure you fly it in No winds first time. Super relaxing, and I can fly mine 40 mins on a pack lol Good choice

  • o ok thanks yea I might get one! Thanks for the info!

  • That video makes me dream. It's like a kid dreaming he's flying over his neighbourhood, shoolyard, house. I love the music. Here is a video response for you to enjoy!

Blue Sky to you! The "Gibolin".

  • Nice altitude! I fly a SS too :)

What sort of camera are you using? Any pics of your camera mount?

  • Guauuuu!!!!!

  • camera is going to set you back at least another $100, if you cheap out here your going to regret the outcome of the videos. blochy with lots of artifaceing, 30FPS in video mode or your wasting your money. If this plane is going to be your first plane save yourself the trouble and just go to a high building and throw $300-400 off,the outcome will be the same with out practice this plane isn't a beginner and at those alts the thermals and gusts will destroy a novice.

  • this plane in a kit with the cheapest raido money can buy, is like 250 for everything minus a camera

  • cant u bye one rtf and if so how much cuz im not plannin on more than 100 dollars if u no a good polane under 100 dollars tell me what and where to get it

  • how much and how much do u need to spend for every single thing u need to fly it including batterys chargers
