Man...i honestly miss the endless combos you can pull off with squall in the first dissidia. Now that they either sped up the recovery or slowed down squall...you can pull off combos anymore.

@BaxterXenon I finally bought the game, and ur pretty much right. Bravery attacks deplete theirs and give it to you, if you get theirs to 0, you gain a multiplied amount to your bravery. if you have enough or more bravery than their HP, you use an HP attack to kill them. However some characters are better with HP attacks, bravery attacks, so you could slightly raise your bravery and keep HP attacking them throughout the match. Kinda like The Emporer. It's alot easier than it sounds :P
@TheShadowfan9000 - You gain new attacks when you level up. Thunder Barret, Blasting Zone & Revolver Drive are what I think you mean. You can set them how you wish in the customisation menu under 'HP' & 'BRV' attacks. The numbers that decrease and increase are Bravery points; when you reduce your opponent's Bravery to 0, you gain the Stage Bravery as seen in the middle of the two. Hope that helps.

@Seniarth - Simply make your opponent drop some equipment, or gain it from Story Mode or the Shop in the Customize Menu; then equip it. What I probably had at the time this video was uploaded was equipment that made my stats around 150 Atk & Def; which is no way enough for a Lv.100 opponent. You can see what level your equipment is by browsing at it in the Equipment screen, also in the Customization Menu. The best type of equipment are Lufenian, Genji & Adamant. Hope that helps. :)

Lionheart= instant death all mobs even if u r lvl 1with all the status in 1whit no GF junction and the monster is lvl 100 whit all the status in 255 but the omega weapon
Omnislash= tickles unleast u have the ultima weapon and a good materia combination and good stats
RESULT= Lionheart pwnd Omnlislash
Squall=cool emo look, hero who saved towns countries his girlfriend 3 times and the past present and future world
Cloud=cool badass look, hero who saved a little girl and the world
Though, Squall and Cloud's personal journey/motivations through the games were different.
Squall has always been an independent & strong person who finally learns to rely on others, but Cloud was a mentally-weak, insecure guy who once depended too much on other people (Zack, etc) and had to learn to get rid of his personal demons and find his 'true' self. Complete opposite.
By the end of the games, Squall solved all his issues while Cloud hasn't (AC anyone?)

@rockkiller124 - You asign the character a move in the Cusomize Menu. One may be for O or Square, another could be for Down & O or Square, and another may be for Up & O or Square. During battle, you need to tilt the analog stick to the direction you set the attack at in order to use that attack.
@rockkiller124 - For online, yes. You can play against somebody who's near you in communication mode. But you do need a PS3 for online play with Dissidia; as it doesn't normally support infrastructure.

Not only is FF7 EXTREMLY OVERRATED in my opinion, but it lacks in story compared to FF8, which immerses you with both past, present, future schemes that literally take your breath away. I honestly think becasue of Sephiroth that FF7 even gets its Huge praise. All games need an excellent villian, and lucky for FF7 Sephiroth delivered compared to Ultimicia who just stayed in the back pulling the strings. However, that doesn't push me Away from FF8!

@SimonMOak - I'm saying that if Cloud is used right, having an EX/HP Wall Rush Setup and the appropriate equipment, he can beat any character with atleast 2 to 3 Omnislash Version 5's (2 if you have an EX setup)... He, along with Terra, can be/are the most broken of all the characters. Put in the search bar 'Requested by starfox416', and there should be a video with Cloud vs. Sephiroth. Watch that, and you'll see what I mean... >_>

at first, i though this was an easy battle seeing how easy you hit cloud in the early battle.
but when i see the difference in brave damage, i knew this wasn't easy at all. nice fight man, seeing you won in a very critical conditions make this fight epic!
not to brag, but i say the game is quite easy. the only thing you need to master is the variety of attacks, the timing and counter it. (it's hard really!)
that's all, and even you fought any enemy on vicious level you can counter them easily.
@JWSulzer90 - I didn't die because, if you noticed throughout the video that, he Brave Attacked me, therefore taking my Bravery. The move that Cloud used as a Brave Attack, not a HP attack. HP attacks have name bars at the top of the screen when used. You don't lose HP when being hit by a Brave attack, but using Brave attacks increase the amount of damage you can inflict when using a HP attack.
Using Brave Attacks also drain your opponent's brave points (which, as stated above, is needed to be increased so your HP attacks deals more damage). By lowering the opponent's Brave Point below 0 (which is called Break), the points in the bottom-middle is then added to your Brave Points and vice-versa.
Also, Brave Attacks deals critical damage (number colored in yellow) in greater frequency when you successfully blocked your opponent's Brave Attack and, again, vice-versa.
Cloud is the friking best fighter for me. he suits my style. and he looks awesome with his alternate costume or watever u call it... Advent Children FTW!!!!
Kefka has better BRV game than squall and waay easier to land HP attacks with him too. Zidane has ok BRV game and extremely easy to land HP attacks. Not saying Squall or Cloud are bad characters but your statements just waaaay off. No arguments.

@694377 There's a problem in that fight:: you claim that the CPU was on the hardest difficulty yet the CPU never uses a bravery to HP attack
I've just fought Cloud on that difficulty and the CPU did that 3 times even though it didn't have a lot of bravery

Not only is FF7 EXTREMLY OVERRATED in my opinion, but it lacks in story compared to FF8, which immerses you with both past, present, future schemes that literally take your breath away. I honestly think becasue of Sephiroth that FF7 even gets its Huge praise. All games need an excellent villian, and lucky for FF7 Sephiroth delivered compared to Ultimicia who just stayed in the back pulling the strings. However, that doesn't push me Away from FF8!

@lilrucus1 Hmm. I disagree. I don't think FF7 is overrated, I think it is good for what it is. The accomplishments it obtained are its bragging rights. However I like FF8 more than 7. That's not to say FF7 wasn't enjoyable.

I personally believe that Squall is the better than Cloud, due to the fact that a majority of Cloud's skill is from mako energy. While Squall's skills are just pure talent and from fierce training. On another note, not to disrespect any FF7 FANS or the the game itself, but Final Fantasy 7 is too overrated. While FF8 is arguably the most underrated/overlooked game in the series (In my opinion).

No.. cloud is well balanced, he may not be the fastest but he is the strongest when it comes to attacking power plus you can chain his moves pretty well along with his guard crush capabilities..i dont know why you think cloud isnt balanced but one thing i know he is most more able than squall, plus squalls HP attacks are fuckin slow the only trouble on squall is his arial brave attack but by the right timing it can be neutralized,, i like squall but he's just not as good as i thought he would be

i like squall better as a character but in dissidia i think cloud is waaay better. hes more balanced than squall in terms of bravery and hp attacks. squall blows balls at hp attacks and his bravery attacks are ok.

The amount of people that exploit him online is unbelievable, due to his wall damage capability and the amount of damage he can inflict in EX, and EX Burst - plus his abilty to guard crush. He is nowhere near balanced as some of the other characters. I'm not saying Squall is balanced, but Cloud is nowhere near it....

@SimonMOak - I'm saying that if Cloud is used right, having an EX/HP Wall Rush Setup and the appropriate equipment, he can beat any character with atleast 2 to 3 Omnislash Version 5's (2 if you have an EX setup)... He, along with Terra, can be/are the most broken of all the characters. Put in the search bar 'Requested by starfox416', and there should be a video with Cloud vs. Sephiroth. Watch that, and you'll see what I mean... >_>

at first, i though this was an easy battle seeing how easy you hit cloud in the early battle.
but when i see the difference in brave damage, i knew this wasn't easy at all. nice fight man, seeing you won in a very critical conditions make this fight epic!
not to brag, but i say the game is quite easy. the only thing you need to master is the variety of attacks, the timing and counter it. (it's hard really!)
that's all, and even you fought any enemy on vicious level you can counter them easily.

@JWSulzer90 - I didn't die because, if you noticed throughout the video that, he Brave Attacked me, therefore taking my Bravery. The move that Cloud used as a Brave Attack, not a HP attack. HP attacks have name bars at the top of the screen when used. You don't lose HP when being hit by a Brave attack, but using Brave attacks increase the amount of damage you can inflict when using a HP attack.

Using Brave Attacks also drain your opponent's brave points (which, as stated above, is needed to be increased so your HP attacks deals more damage). By lowering the opponent's Brave Point below 0 (which is called Break), the points in the bottom-middle is then added to your Brave Points and vice-versa.
Also, Brave Attacks deals critical damage (number colored in yellow) in greater frequency when you successfully blocked your opponent's Brave Attack and, again, vice-versa.

I got to say, you have the best fight between cloud and squall. I was on the edge of my seat when i first saw your video guessing who would win. I actually thought you would lose but you came back powerful and kick cloud's but. anyways great video. I see none of them as an emo. both just had hard times in their lives. LOL
