It's even easier than that - especially if you use Safari. Double click the font in your downloads folder - a window will come up showing you the letters etc in your font. Bottom right there's a button called install. Hit it! In XP you have to locate a folder within control panel. What aggro! Also, in OSX, the font is available immediately in any open app. In XP you have to close the application and then restart it before your font is available.
