I'm learning so much from you guys this week.

I've struggled a bit with gender for a year now.

I know a lot about being trans and the transition process, but I'm learning a lot about being genderqueer.

I realize now that I actually can bind my chest and not take T.

I didn't think I wanted to take T, so then I thought I shouldn't bind my chest if I don't..but I really have wanted to and tried to bind for a while.

So basically I'm saying thanks. :)

It's good to hear you blowing some of these issues open; I particularly like that you worked in "stone butch". Labels = a tricky business but I don't think we should avoid them, we *should* avoid being limited by them. Labels are like a verbal shorthand - e.g. "stone butch" can encompass dress, sexual activity, gender pronouns - & are useful because of this, if only to make it easier to say "I'm stone butch but...". I agree Kade's awesome & (gay man, here) kinda hot. PS. You're cats are so cute!

I actually have a friend who is trans and he went on T, but only for 7 months because his body rejected it. I don't know why, but you talking about considering T at one point and then deciding that you were comfortable with your body made me think of that. I think the most wonderful thing a trans person can do for themselves is to accept their bodies, even if they want to make changes to it.

I've actually questioned my gender identity more than once. Which, personally, I think was more from feeling I didn't fit into a standard label and that the grass always looked greener.

Kristen Worley - a professional world class trans athlete and she didn't transition till later on in her life because like what AJ said, the technology just was not as advanced as it is now.

I have a friend who is completely femme looking but has suddenly preferred male pronouns... this is the hardest thing EVER to adjust to for all of the friends. And I think that may be "his" point, to challenge the system of labels... but I still don't really know what to think about it. Have you encountered this before?

The trans community is sooo strong at the moment, and I personally am concerned about all the masculine grrls/bois around the world! There is a lot of pressure to transition, coming especially from YouTube, and I believe we need more strong proud butches to show, that the world is not black and white and being a masculine woman is okay (and super rad!!).

yeah that with the arm is totally right. its to stretch the skin, that they dont have this huge scar on the arm. they use skin from the arm or leg to form a penis, but mostly from the arm.
