@allprog need I remind you that Howard stuck his whole arm through the rim when he tried to block Gasol's shot, therefore that was a clear goaltend. As long as the ball's flight path did not change, there is no goaltend right there. Had th eball change direction when it went off the backboard, it would've been a goaltend. I think you need to rad the rules and go over the game again, because Howard clearly goaltended on one shot by sticking his arm through the hoop.

Wrong! the rules states ANY interferrance with the RIM or the NET due to a player it's goaltending, the serise should be 3 to 1 Magic. I believe the NBA and ESPN is pissed at Orlando for beating Cleveland, because they made all this hype about Kobe vs Lebron and now it's not happening. Kobe should have gotten a technical when he got tied up with Dwight and that ot shot by Derrick Fisher should have never happen Kobe elbowed Nelson in the face clear as day.

i love how you didn't say anything about the block that howard went THROUGH the rim to get. very obvious when you see the replay. but yea, i don't blame courtney lee. if he cut closer to the rim it would've had a much better chance of going in. he was maybe a yard away from the rim when he caught it (and still falling out of bounds)

In Game 1 Kobe takes 6 shots from the 6 minute mark to the 2 min mark in the 4th quarter. He goes 1-6. When he makes a shot at the 2 minute mark he has 40 points but the Lakers are already up by more then 20 points. Typical Kobe jacking up shots even in garbage time to get his stats when other guys on the team need to see the ball go through the rim much more then him.
In Game 2 Kobe goes to ballhog mode and doesn't pass it off only to get his shit blocked by Hedo

If you happened to watch last series against Denver, Kobe had the ball and passed to Derek Fisher for the game-winner.... missed shot and Lakers lost. Watch this play develop- Lamar passes to Kobe with everyone covered, then Kobe penetrates and draws the defenders in, and by that time there are only 2 seconds on the clock. With the game on the line, I think anybody would vote for Kobe to make the play. How many times out of 100 will Odom or Ariza make a clutch game-winner? Sucks but whatever.

Actually, Lamar had the hot hand and had hit several jump shots. Everyone figures Kobe will take the shot so passing to Lamar would have been the better option had there been a second or two more on the clock.
