  • It released on August 1, 1994 and lasted until November 5, 1995.

  • I think it was first released on January 16th, 1995 a day before the 1st Anniversary of the 1994 Northridge Earthquake. And it lasted until June 23rd, 1996.

  • This almost exactly looks like News 4 New Yorks alternate news logo from this era. But I like it.

  • it's interesting to see a 4 thin out and disappear in the bg

  • This open did not last as long "94-95"...a new talent open kicked around November.

  • gosh i miss Jess Marlow and Wendy Tokuda on NBC4 Los Angeles

  • Wendy Tokuda is now on CBS5 in San Francisco

  • I always thought this was FAR better than The Tower.

  • I agree. The Tower is alright, but this kicks the Tower's behind!

  • Ahh gotta love this old version of the tower! kinda like Krons Music because its the same guy

  • Yes, the same guy (Michael Boyd) composed the theme. No, this is not the Tower, this theme was composed 6 years before the was.

  • Not everything is The Tower you know

  • older version meaning it has the same signature

  • it doesn't have the same signature....

  • Listen To the tower bumper then bitch at me again punk!

  • The signature in the bumper sounds has trace of the the Newscenter sig but the package doesn't fully revolve around the Newscenter sig, and it is NOT "the older version". KNBC News and The Tower are made by two different companies...

    NOW bitch at me again....
