Easy,just google search for 5.03 gen-c, then uninstall your current firmware,and install the new 5.03 gen-c.. :)

just like to ask about decrypting games. I had a friend who ask me to download SMACKDOWN VS. RAW 2010. Unfortunately, it doesn't work for him. He is using 5.00 Gen D (full).. But the thing is it work on my psp which is 5.00 Gen D-3.. Do I have to decrypt it in order to be played with that type of system software.. well if it is a psp-1000-2000 model (except the 2000 model with the 88v3 motherboard) the only chance you get is bricking it while hacking it or doing something stupid like flashing a new gameboot. if you follow the instructions nothing will happen. But if it is the psp-3000 then you cannot load full custom firmware on it. you can only use chickhen and use custom firmware enabler but that is not permanent.

ha ha. the psp-3000 fails in life. I got my psp-2000 5 days before the 3000 came out but my friend was saying return and wait. Boy I am glad I didn't return it. I'm rocking 5.50 gen-d3 and I don't have to do the chickhen shit.
