Read a few posts below, I have to say as a trials rider on both motorbike and mountain bike, the basic skills required are the same.

Both rely on power, balance and balls.

Although mountain bikes won't get up some of the stuff a motorbike can, they can still go down them with style.

I would absolutely love to have a Trials Motorcycle, my dads friend is the "Over 45" National Champion in the United States for Moto Trials haha. I just think that, it takes a crap load of skill to ride these bikes, but then to do it on a bicycle, seems even more incredible, but, they're 2 pretty different sports, like Touch and Tackel Football, one is "hard", but then the other is HARD haha

Spoken like someone who hasn't done trials on either type of bike. Both require a different skillset, and I've found bicycles to be a little easier, due largely to the weight difference.

@opmike343 Haha, I've done "trials" on a mountain bike, which is where it originated from, but I can't buy either of them, because they're both such specific sports that require a very specific high tech machine to help you do the work. I know who has done trials though, Danny MacAskill. If you look at my other comments on this video, I go into more detail about how they are both different sports, and require a much much different skill set, basically what you just said haha

@meda789 Oh my gosh! Holy crap! I'm just saying that Danny MacAskill can do it on a bicycle, that is not in anyway a diss on Julien Dupont, I'm just saying that I've seen it done! And also, if you read my earlier comments, I mentioned that Danny could in no way right up that thing because he can't sustain that power and torque for long enough to ride up the wall, it's impossible to do it on a bicycle, that is why I have previously said that they're different sports & I kind of regret saying that
