@pharmacist2137 ozone can be harmful but it ain't a pollutant ;)
Actually this is THE cleanest method of eliminating mold or, another fantastic use, bio-HAZMAT sterilizations.
It has some downsides. Like it is toxic to most living creatures that will breathe or come otherwise in contact. This can be avoided.
And, also, it could damage some materials like Nylon and composite resins.
Then again, this is a tool. Just like hammer, one could build a hose or smash some toes with.
