Man, I suddenly remembered the guy. He was so hilarious. He definitely would have been up there with Ray William Johnson and so forth by now.

I talked to his best bud on YouTube (JC's fans know who he is), and he said it was because he basically lost his desire to make videos. He felt that he had basically gone as far as possible on YouTube, without going viral.

Yeah Victor, I noticed that his account was closed too. Weird... He did some of the best social commentary I've seen on youtube. Not to mention he was funny.

It is a shame. He was a funny, decent guy and completely changed my opinion of masked tubers. Maybe he just got to that place where he needed to take time out but felt the only way he could do it was to go cold turkey. I'm sure he'll be back someday. We can only hope anyway.

I think LegendofWayne did a video on DumbedDownFTW saying that JohnCocktoston wasn't in the right place, or something like that, to carry on with makeing videos... or something about being uninspiered and so he was taking a break from YT, but next thing you knew was both accounts were deleted.
