@jjk6610 depends on wut you like to do, if you want to have a huge swarming army but have a weaker defense zerg, if you want good defense and a versatile offense but nothing special terran. if you want to have some really strong but expensive units on both offense and defense but can be overtaken by large armies protoss. it almost a rock paper scissor. terran beats zerg, zerg beats protoss, protoss beat terran. thts just how i c it
The mothership is used to be freakin overpowerd in the Alpha. They can use Time Bomb that slows down income fire, Planet Cracker that allows the Mothership to kill everyhing on the ground by only moving over them and the Black hole that can make enemy air units disappeared from reality. And now? It is just an XXL-sized version of the Arbiter with the Vortex and it can be easily killed by mass vikings/Corruptors/Pheonixes.
I always thought that stalkers were the units that replace dragoons in starcraft 2.
number of reasons
1. dragoons were mobile units in sc 1 and was used for that, in sc2 they have becomed even more mobile since they are still very fast and they have the new ability blink .
2. the atack air.
3. they require the same buildings and cost the same amount resources.
4. most units in sc2 have been reduced by half the damage. So in that case stalkers do the sam damage as dragoons.
@mikeboggy2345 Not really. A good zerg player will dominate Terran early in the game and a good protoss player will hold out and then dominate the Terran late in the game. The three races are actually really well balanced and it's a matter of who is a better player most of the time.
@ricur552 heyheyhey watch it please. Lots of folks (like me) choose a race, because they like how they look and their history. Sc1 was not perfectly balanced at release either. There are simply toooo many variables in RTS games so it's gonna take a while before it will be super balanced. WoW pvp on the other hand is more unbalanced imo
