i'm not too thrilled about the direction he's going..too folky i guess, but i'm open minded and a huge fan of JM. I just hope he pops out another "edge of desire" in the new album..these new songs sound a lot like "who says" and that really wasn't a song i even much listened to on battle studies. Not bashing the new style..just kind of disappointed in the direction he's going.

i'm 24 and have always feel kinda scared about growing old and not reaching my pontential, i'm an overthinker and kind of a loner, i feel very identified with a lot of John's songs, they help me remind that i'm not the only one who struggles and feels that way, and that everything is gonna be alright. He's a very real person with problems like all of us, and has a very heart felt and unique way of express it, he connects right to my soul.
